The Opportunity As we continue to expand and transform the primary care experience, we're looking for providers to deliver virtual primary care. This provider will care for One Medical patients directly through scheduled and on demand visits utilizing video as well as asynchronous channels. All remote primary providers demonstrate proficiency in practicing evidence based primary care and shared decision making with patients. The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) is a leading provider of virtual clinical care, providing world-class, convenient, evidence-based virtual medical care to One Medical patients. Through advanced technology and a team-based approach, we care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our team is united by intellectual curiosity, inclusiveness, and a powerful mission: transforming healthcare and bringing world-class primary care to everyone. Employment type: * Full time (32 hours minimum including some evenings and weekends) * Location: Remote in South Carolina What you'll work on: * Treat patients via telehealth visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and message-based care * Manage patients with a broad array of patient needs virtually; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits * Adopt standard work and clinical protocols for evidence-based clinical care * Attend continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities * Collaborate with teammates and leadership via daily huddles * Supervise NP or PA colleagues Requirements Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role: * Completed an accredited Family Medicine residency program * Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in a primary care or virtual primary care setting * Experience with virtual care and/or virtual primary care preferred * Board certified in Family Medicine * Minimum of 25 state licenses, and willingness to obtain and maintain additional licenses with the support of our One Medical Credentials Team * Medicare credentialed or eligible One Medical providers also demonstrate: * A passion for human-centered primary care * The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds * The ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care * Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care * The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery * An openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses * The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues * Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients * Adaptability and flexibility to deliver care and evolve models of virtual care delivery within a growth-phase clinical organization One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $200,000 to $260,000 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
