The Position: We are looking to fill a 3rd shift press helper position. Responsibilities include: Mounts plates. Pulls and layout tooling for production orders. Supports the operator with set-up and tear-down. Operates the presses through lunch and break periods when necessary. Monitors the ink levels, paper levels, and fount solution. Fills ink and dampening solution fountains and adjusts controls to regulate flow of ink and dampening solution to plate cylinder. At shift change, check and refill as needed the fount solution, paper, plates, and inks. Make certain that area is clean, empty trash, and empty trace. Must work well with others in a team environment. Recording of time and production for job costing. Ability to meet daily production standards. Performs all required preventative maintenance in accordance to production schedule. Maintains a clean and organized work area and press. Observe company work rules and safety regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
