RD is Group Vice President at Diversified Communications overseeing a growing portfolio of business communities. Prior to Diversified, and in just 27 months as a Partner at Greenhaven Partners, RD transformed former BNA (now Bloomberg) publishing assets into a thriving professional business community (IOFM) which was acquired by Diversified in April 2013. RD is also a board member for Onstream Media (Ticker: ONSM).

Prior to Greenhaven, as CEO of Tarsus Online Media, RD was responsible for expanding the online media division of the Tarsus Group plc (a b2b media company with exhibitions, conferences, publishing and online media properties across global industries). From practically a standing start, RD created a significant media and event business in the United States.

Through his 25 year career, RD has become an expert developing communities that bring buyer and seller together. He has deep knowledge in creating paid content and subscription businesses, and he has developed media assets in 14 different industries. RD has an impressive track record building and growing media assets to maximize value for investors.

RD served 9 years in leadership roles at Kennedy Information. As VP and General Manager, Whitney was a key player in helping investors transform the company into a rapidly growing, diverse media platform that resulted in a sale to BNA for $47 million (a 30x ROI for investors in 4 years) .

RD held positions at large and small specialty business publishing firms including Kluwer Law International (a division of Wolters Kluwer), the Thompson Publishing Group, Yankee Publishing, Vicon Publishing and Connell Communications (a division of IDG).

RD holds a BS in Business Communications from Bentley University and an MBA from Fitchburg State University (Massachusetts). RD served as the co-chair of the 25th annual marketing conference for the Specialized Information Publishers Association (SIPA).
