    We are seeking a dedicated Technical Artist to serve as a crucial link between our artistic and engineering teams. This role involves collaborating closely with a multifaceted, interconnected team dedicated to crafting engaging, first-party infrastructure, systems, and tools for our platform aimed at shaping the metaverse. **Required Skills:** Technical Artist Responsibilities: 1. Design and develop systems, processes, tooling to validate, prototype, and implement new capabilities in partnership with cross functional teams 2. Implement runtime logic, tooling within a complex real-time environment with performance limitations in mind 3. Optimize content through enhancing performance and instructing the artists and designers on asset creation, modeling and texturing best practices 4. Analyze project timelines and resource allocation, proposing adjustments to optimize production schedules through technology and process enhancements 5. Document workflows, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across teams 6. Communicate and advocate for the technical system's role in building a platform that serves billions of users 7. Consistently give and take constructive feedback, direct next steps, and communicate clear goals and outcomes to your team **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 8. 6+ years of experience developing real-time experiences across different products 9. Experience in at least one low-level programming language (i.e. C++) 10. Understanding of architecture for complex tools and pipelines with a focus on content creators 11. Expertise with game/real-time profiling and optimization techniques 12. Demonstrated experience in communicating technical topics to non technical partners 13. Understanding of AI and ML concepts at a core level. (data collection, model training, deployment, runtime performance) **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 14. Proven experience designing and implementing real-time graphics technologies, and their corresponding authoring tools 15. Experience with performance profiling and optimizing assets within tight performance budgets 16. Proven experience validating rendering outputs to ensure shading consistency on various platforms 17. Experience with real-time lighting concepts, color science, color space, exposure, tone mapping, and post-processing effects 18. Experience partnering with a cross-functional teams of artists, designers and engineers to design end-to-end workflows and authoring tools 19. Experience in low level programming languages such as C or C++, in addition to scripting languages such as Python 20.
