We're looking for an in-house, 3D digital content artist to create digital collectibles and NFTs and produce refined art that appeals to die hard fans and collectors.

We're the world's first marketplace for digital collectibles and the gateway for mainstream collectors to fall in love with digital collectibles and NFTs.

You will be responsible for creating amazing digital collectibles that will make collectors yearn for more! Apply your deep knowledge of collecting mechanics combined with cutting edge visuals.

Launched in 2016, Quidd has a pre-existing community of millions of digital collectors, some of whom have been with us for over 5 years. Think opening packs of trading cards and stickers and pulling your favorite character, or super rare edition on your phone!

This will be your mission -- to design and illustrate visually appealing sets that veterans and casual collectors alike will rush to collect.

What You'll DoMasterfully create low-medium poly fully textured models using any of the top 3D software packages (Maya, Blender, Zbrush, 3DSMax). You are a master of UV texturing, and fluent in creating realistic textures from scratch.Some 3D animation, both fully rendered for web marketing support, and embedded in GLB files.Update existing 3D models in OBJ format.Creating assets with 3D Voxel editors.Learn internal workflow chains from asset sourcing, to creation, to submission ready exports.Learn and follow licensor guidelines and IP specific style-guide usage.Follow current trends in a variety of popular collectible genres.On occasion, interface with our overseas design team.

Who You AreYou view the real world in terms of polygon count, specular and subsurface scattering levels. You also keep up on the latest and greatest of the 3D world. You understand various file formats and how to convert them while maintaining fidelity.You have a strong collectibles background, you have pvc figurines lining your shelf, you revel in various fandoms, love attending conventions and will buy 5 polybagged copies of variant cover comics. Have a strong understanding behind the mechanics of what makes a collectible product in pop culture, non-sport and sports spaces, both digital and physical.Steady in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments; we work quickly so you should be comfortable in a collaborative environment biased towards execution and iteration.Understanding of balance: you do your best work within the constraints of timelines and project importance. It's about great art, released on time, with a production budget that makes sense.You love games, especially casual games focused on micro transactions.

What You're Good AtFluent in Design Tooling: you're an expert in all the relevant applications and tools, including but not limited to Maya, Blender, Z-Brush, Adobe Photoshop, and After Effects.Exporting .GLB, GLTF, USDZ, and other 3D web formats and know how to get around typical problems during conversion.Flexibility of Style: you can bounce between various styles, from organic characters to gritty environments. Communications; you are skilled in communicating cross-functionally across overseas designers, marketers, and engineers; you can deliver compelling arguments around certain design choices Versatility: you've dabbled in a little bit of everything so you usually have a head start on anything new. If you don't know something, you aren't afraid to dive in head first to learn. 3D designers bridge the gap between the customer, the development team, and key business stakeholders. As a 3D Designer, you will play a vital role in helping Avery Dennison thrive in the apparel digital revolution. You will help engage directly with our customers and their 3D Digital Teams to build long-term partnerships and get a deep understanding of how we can engage them early in the product creation cycle to best support their needs. You will build and grow relationships with software partners to address novel approaches to technical hurdles in our sector. As we continue to build out our team and capabilities this role will need to stay abreast of new digital trends and how we can leverage them in our product offerings. This person must thrive in a rapidly changing environment and love the challenge of adopting new technologies and systems into our existing business ecosystem. With this in mind, The 3D Designer will engage cross functional teams in understanding and implementing 3D best practices. From sales, to production, to R&D we believe 3D has the capability to be a major value add. Their work will be featured in multi-channel marketing initiatives, video productions, and presentation development.
Key Activities

Creating Training Documentation and Support for the PA & Creative Teams transition.

Develop smart tools to make product creation easier for internal team members

Expanding 3D offering into new product categories within RBIS

Review new 3D options and upgrades as they become available. Validate New Software's with Outlined Workflow

Develop expert-level knowledge of competitive and complementary products and bring new ideas to the team.

Help bring 3D Digital Sampling to customer facing platforms for collaboration, outline approvals and

3D Garment Software integration.

High level 3D design and art direction for scripted video and presentation components.

Support creative design with 3D concepts to be implemented in customers' 3D platforms.

Championing opportunities for workflow efficiencies within the new 3D creation process

Define internal and external use cases for Digital Library, coordinate integration into digital product creation.

Visualization, leverage material scans, perimetric materials generation, and AI predictive algorithms to create stunning visuals

Work with IT and digital teams to vet greater implementation in our current digital pipeline and integrate with our CX planform. Develop a thorough understanding of our customers through research and tie their problems and needs to business impact.

Be a thought leader around understanding customer mind set in relation to digital product creation and digital banding utilization.

Manage partnerships with Customers to Test end to end Workflows and extend impact of digital products.

Ability to manage several projects autonomously

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Using engineering design concepts and design software, (AutoCAD or MicroStation), prepares preliminary design and produces complete construction document set drawings; prepares conformed plans and record drawings from existing and modified construction document sets.

+ Reviews redlines and preliminary construction drawings for correctness, completeness and conformance with Plummer and the design software standards; recommends acceptance or modifications.

+ Generates, complete and accurate record drawings, maps and other engineering design project work.

+ Identifies design problems, such as location, elevation, drainage, pipe alignment conflicts and right of way availability; develops and presents proposed resolutions to the assigned project engineer.

+ Conducts field inspections and surveys of project sites to determine or verify existing conditions and take measurements and dimensions; obtain record information from utilities to research utility line locations; research files, drawings, survey maps and parcel information for various data.

+ Maintain a minimum: 12 hours of continuing education each year.

**Education and Experience:**

+ Knowledge and practical use of AutoCAD(or equivalent).

+ Civil 3D experience required.

+ High School Diploma and training from a recognized CAD training facility.

+ Preferred Experience: 6 years of Water, Wastewater, Gas, Electric, or Telecom Utility Experience.

+ Knowledge of surveys, state plane coordinate systems, plant coordinate systems, true north vs plant north, etc.

+ Knowledge of using point cloud data to create 3D BIM data

+ **Preferred:** Certification, Associates or Bachelor's.

**Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**

Under general supervision, uses CAD programs and tools to capture, create, update and maintain design data; interprets and clarifies engineer redlines, design notes, and as-built drawings; ensures the completeness and accuracy of all work completed; and performs duties as assigned.

+ Must have a good working knowledge of geometry, mathematics and trigonometry.

+ Thorough knowledge of the standard terminology, techniques and practices of engineering drafting.

+ Must be able to modify existing drawings to minimize the need to create new drawings and create new drawings when necessary in a timely fashion, which meet internal standards.

+ Must be able to self-check own work to ensure accuracy and completeness.

+ Able to work closely with engineers and other personnel to obtain information or ensure drawing clarity.

+ Able to take layouts from engineers and provide construction sheets detailing the facility

+ Computer literacy in the company's software.

+ Working knowledge of general construction techniques and the role of the drawings in the construction project.

+ Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and sketches.

+ Must maintain an awareness of and regularly work within established schedules and budgets.

+ Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend and move about.
