CAD Designer (Remote Possible) Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Employment Type: Contract About the Role We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-paced, innovative group supporting critical facility and process upgrades. Our ideal candidate will have experience in architectural, electrical, and P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram) CAD work, and will collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams. Operates Computer Aided Design (CAD) computer system to create accurate, detailed drawings that AID in the manufacturing of Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS) and the construction of buildings. These detailed drawings typically incorporate the input of engineers, truss and beam suppliers, architects, designers and surveyors. Specific input can include engineered materials, dimensions, building codes, building materials, and production methods. Pay $23/hour and up depending on experience and qualifications. Job Qualifications: Education and / or Experience: Two (2) years of post-secondary education in Drafting Technology including CAD instruction or equivalent experience of five (5) years. Skills: Strong technical knowledge of AutoCAD and AutoCAD techniques along with hsb CAD. Use of ForteWEB for the sizing of building materials. Common building knowledge, common building practices, procedures, and building components used in manufacturing and in building construction industries. Strong project management skills, communications skills and PC software skills with both Word and Excel.
