The company's reputation is stellar as are their products. They still offer some match on 401K. For an entry level sales job this is good experience. For upper management they still receive RSUs & stock options. If you are a technical or scientific person living in MN you may be able to find a good job here.

This is not a people centered culture like it was years ago. Plan to see quick turnover in leadership on the VP level as the company values cycling upper management through divisions that operate differently. There are company favorites. Forget work/life balance. They expect you to be available at all times.

The racism and favoritism that existed at 3M in Iowa. They preached about diversity and sadly it was the most racist place I had ever worked. That made it a very unfriendly place for me.

I enjoy the Work-life balance culture at 3M. It allows for me to be there for my kids when they need me and allows me to get the work done when it works best for me.
