He has worked as Publisher, Upstate Business Journal at Upstate Business Journal; Vice President, Tenant Representation at Trinity Partners; and Co-Founder at Care & Comfort. Ryan attended Lorenzo De Medici between 2005 and 2005, Alfred University between 2002 and 2006, and Clemson University - College of Business and Behavioral Science between 2002 and 2006.

Ryan Heafy is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of 6AM City, the fastest growing newsletter-first local media company in the country. He is responsible for overseeing people, process, and sustainable growth of the Company, from hiring practices and operating procedures to fundraising and M&A activity. Ryan Heafy a mechanical engineer by degree, began his career at Sikorsky Aircraft, where he managed the development of a vertically integrated supply chain for the H-60L Black Hawk helicopter transmission. In 2012, he joined the leadership team at ADEX Machining Technologies, in Greenville, South Carolina.After successfully positioning ADEX for private equity acquisition in 2015, Ryan exited the company. Following his passion, Ryan became the Founding Executive Director of iMAGINE Upstate, raising funds and building a team to launch an educational platform and downtown festival designed to inspire students about workforce opportunities through STEAM education.Ryan’s unique experience in manufacturing, civic leadership and scaling business operations, has allowed 6AM City to engineer the future of local media. Redefining how communities engage, connect and experience the markets that 6AM City serves.
