This leader plays a critical role in shaping the team member experience from recruitment to onboarding, development, performance coaching, culture, and compliance-across multi-state operations. This role is ideal for an experienced HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment and can balance day-to-day execution with long-term organizational strategy. The Senior HR Manager serves as a trusted advisor to Operations, guiding leaders, strengthening systems, and ensuring our People practices reflect 7 Leaves' values and commitment to servant leadership. Position Details & Work Requirements: Salary Range - $105,000 - $125,000 annually (Exempt) Location - Onsite at our Huntington Beach Corporate Office Work Environment: Hybrid, with occasional visits to stores or field locations Travel: Up to 10-15%, depending on operational needs, investigations, training, or store openings Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs. HR Operations, Compliance & Culture Stewardship Lead and mentor HR Managers, HR Specialists, and administrative team members. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (CA, NV, AZ). Oversee investigations, corrective action, and sensitive employee relations matters. Manage leaves of absence, ADA/FEHA accommodations, WC, and multi-state compliance. Annually review, update, and communicate HR policies and the Employee Handbook. Strengthen workplace culture emphasizing psychological safety, respect, and accountability. Champion DEIB initiatives embedded into hiring, onboarding, development, and performance. 2. Training Department Leadership Lead Training managers responsible for curriculum development, onboarding, LMS management, and leadership pathways. Ensure Training and HR operate as a unified People team with shared priorities. Elevate new hire orientation, learning systems, and ongoing training for store, operations, and corporate teams. Collaborate with Operations and Quality to ensure product mastery and service standards. Build scalable leadership development programs for Supervisors, Managers, and District Managers. Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Partnership Oversee hiring for corporate roles and store leadership to ensure fair, compliant, values-aligned selection. Manage benefits administration, broker relationships, and open enrollment processes. Partner with payroll to maintain accuracy and compliance in multi-state wage and hour practices. Lead annual compensation review and salary band management to ensure equity and competitiveness. Collaborate with Finance & Operations on workforce planning, labor strategy, and retention initiatives. 4. Employee Relations, Performance Coaching & Culture Development Coach leaders on performance expectations, documentation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership. Guide progressive discipline and terminations to ensure fairness and compliance. Conduct exit interviews and synthesize insights to inform retention and cultural initiatives. Promote a culture of honest feedback, strong communication, and continuous improvement. 5. People Data, Systems, Reporting & Cross-Functional Partnership Ensure HR data integrity and build dashboards to track turnover, retention, compliance, and workforce trends. Leverage Paylocity and LMS systems to improve workflow, communication, and team member experience. Use data to identify opportunities and provide insights to senior leadership. Partner with Branding, Product, Training, and Operations on engagement programs and internal communication. Serve as a People strategy leader contributing to organizational development and future growth planning. What Success Looks Like: Success in this role will be measured by improvements in: Reduced turnover and improved new hire retention Strong training compliance and leadership bench readiness Fewer ER escalations through strong coaching and early intervention Consistent multi-state compliance with clean audit results High manager satisfaction with HR support and responsiveness Cohesion and high performance across the HR & Training teams What We're Looking For: 5+ years in HR management or People leadership, preferably in a multi-unit or multi-state environment. Experience supervising HR and Training/L&D team members. Demonstrated success managing investigations, employee relations, and developing effective HR policies. Deep understanding of California labor law; experience with Nevada and Arizona is a plus. Comfortable using HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity) and LMS platforms to streamline processes and support learning initiatives. Strong communication, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, and influencing abilities. Able to build trust, model humility, and guide leaders through change. High adaptability, sound judgment, and unwavering commitment to confidentiality. SHRM-CP or PHR certification required; Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field preferred. Background in hospitality, retail, or food & beverage industries. Experience scaling HR processes, training programs, and People systems in a growing organization is a plus. You will work closely with the doctor during surgical and restorative phases of All -on -X procedures, from pre -op planning to final prosthesis delivery. This includes assisting in complex implant surgeries, digital workflow integration, provisional fabrication, and maintenance protocols. Key Responsibilities Clinical Support Assist chairside during All -on -X surgical placements, conversions, and deliveries. Fabricate and adjust provisional prostheses chairside (including immediate load conversions). Capture accurate impressions, bite registrations, and scans for full arch implant cases. Manage digital workflows including intraoral scanning, CBCT imaging, and surgical guide protocols. Maintain sterile fields and follow implant surgical asepsis standards. Place and contour restorations, perform cord packing, take final impressions, and other RDAEF2 expanded functions. Implant & Prosthetic Coordination Manage and organize implant components, multi -unit abutments, and prosthetic parts for each case. Communicate with in -house or external dental labs to coordinate timelines and ensure precision. Support prosthetic adjustments (occlusion, esthetics, and fit) during delivery. Patient Care & Education Guide patients through the All -on -X process, including post -op care instructions, hygiene protocols, and long -term maintenance.
