In my experience in working for 84 Lumber is that : -the local management does not keep their promises -they do not pay you what your worth or follow the bonus in policy -to make any money you must ride the clock -very little upward movement in the company -Home office does not care about employees or trying to retain them . They have it structured so that when the manager of a location comes in under budget, they can keep the difference for their own pocket, which is the reason for no raises or very little raise and not paying you fairly.
My favorite benefits at 84 Lumber are... -Insurance - able to ride the clock

The pay is as amazing once I got into mid level regional program management
He always kept himself at an approachable level never thought himself above dealing with a problem or issue first hand
Get rid of the good old boys club that is so heavily imbedded in the company
