David “Digger” Granville-Smith is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of A+E Networks. Granville-Smith joined A+E Networks as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in July 2014. In December 2016, he was named to his current position. Granville-Smith leads all key financial functions across A+E Networks, including A&E®, History®, Lifetime®, LMN®, FYI™, H2®, Crime & Investigation Network®, History en Español™, Military HISTORY®, LRW®, A+E Studios™, A&E Indie Films®, A+E Networks International®, A+E Networks Digital® and A+E Networks Consumer Products™. In addition, Granville-Smith oversees the Production, Operations, Engineering and Information Technology departments and is responsible for the Corporate Development, Strategy, Investments and Ventures Group. He provides strategic and operational leadership across all of the divisions of the company, including the Brand Portfolio Group, Ad Sales, Distribution, Digital and International, in order to drive the company’s overall growth and value creation. Granville-Smith serves on the boards of A+E Networks Latin America and VICELAND. Prior to joining A+E Networks, Granville-Smith worked at J.P. Morgan and Bear Stearns, which was acquired by J.P. Morgan, for 23 years. Prior to that, he worked at Smith Barney in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group. At J.P. Morgan, he was a Managing Director and Head of the Media Group in the Investment Banking Division. Throughout his career in banking, Granville-Smith worked on a number of significant strategic and financing transactions for diversified media, cable network, cable distribution and telecommunications companies. Granville-Smith is a trustee of the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, New York. He also serves on the President’s Advisory Council for the College of Brown University. Granville-Smith received an A.B. degree from Brown University. He resides in Manhattan with his wife and two children.

Henry Hoberman

Hoberman has over 30 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry. Prior to joining A&E Networks®, he served as Senior Executive Vice President, Global General Counsel and Secretary for the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), where he was responsible for running three MPAA divisions worldwide: Legal, Content Protection and Rights Management. Before MPAA, Hoberman served as the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of RHI Entertainment, Inc., a New York-based television production company, where he oversaw all worldwide business affairs, legal affairs and human resources functions and helped spearhead the company’s 2008 IPO.

During the previous decade, Hoberman held various positions of leadership at ABC and The Walt Disney Company, including Senior Vice President, Litigation and Employment Practices, ABC, Inc., where he served as the worldwide head of litigation for all ABC-owned properties, including the ABC Television Network. Before joining ABC/Disney, Hoberman was an Equity Partner in the Media and Communications Group at Baker & Hostetler, LLP and an Assistant United States Attorney in Washington, DC. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of the Media Law Resource Center, a prominent nonprofit organization founded in 1980 by major American media companies to defend free press and free speech rights, and is a recipient (with colleagues) of the First Amendment Award from the Society of Professional Journalists for obtaining the court-ordered, public disclosure of the Independent Counsel’s full Iran-Contra report.

Juliana Stock is Executive Vice President, Corporate Brand Strategy and Chief of Staff, Office of the President for A+E Networks. In these roles, she is responsible for articulating the brand - its values, culture and vision - for audiences inside and outside the company, while working with the President on high-priority initiatives.

Stock joined A+E Networks in 2013 as Vice President of Strategy and Innovation within the company’s Technology division, and most recently served as Vice President, Corporate Brand Strategy.

Prior to joining A+E Networks, Stock was at Condé Nast for 11 years where she held a number of positions in Marketing, Digital Media and Technology, including Creative Marketing Director; Founding General Manager of Gourmet Live; and Senior Director of Business and Product Development for the company’s first digital skunkworks team. As Creative Marketing Director, she led the consumer marketing effort that launched one of the first digital replica magazines on the Apple App Store.

Stock has also held marketing positions in media and publishing at G+J USA Publishing, VNU Business Publications, and The Magazine of La Cucina Italiana.

In 2012, AdWeek selected Stock as one of the 20 Under 40 Young Influentials, and in 2014, Brand Innovators included her as one of the Top 50 Women in Brand Marketing.

She has served on the Executive Council for Internet Week NY and on the benefit committee for Wingspan Arts, a nonprofit youth arts program and summer conservatory that provides free and subsidized arts programs to elementary, middle and high school students.

Susan Tanamli

Chief Technology Officer

Susan Tanamli is the Chief Technology Officer of A+E Networks. Tanamli is responsible for all of A+E Networks’ technology, leading the Global Technology group including Cloud, Enterprise Products & Applications, Infrastructure, Architecture, Operations, Cyber Security, Data Analytics and supporting the technology needs of the entire organization.

Tanamli was named Chief Technology Officer of A+E Networks in 2020. Prior to her promotion to CTO, she held a number of positions at A+E Networks and other media companies where she established herself as a leader in technology. While at A+E Networks, she has focused on delivering large-scale, complex implementations around Programming & Scheduling, Rights, Sales, Human Capital Management and Finance.

Tanamli has also led an incubator group for new technologies, UI/UX design and change management. The group, under Susan’s leadership, is focused on evolving solutions to match the changing business, making solutions that are simple and efficient, and modernizing and reducing risk.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Tanamli is a graduate of Boston University and a graduate of the Women in Cable Television’s Betsy Magness Leadership Institute, Class 40.
