Jake Holzscheiter is the fifth President to lead Deringer since our founding in 1919. A Certified Customs Specialist and a Licensed Customs Broker, Jake has been with the organization for more than 25 years. He has held varied and progressively senior positions with the company, from branch office administration to logistics operations work in the field, to Vice President of Customs Affairs, and as Senior Vice President. His many roles have involved day-to-day operations management, training and innovation development, and high level compliance and trade support for Deringer clients across the US and around the world.

The Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer position requires a unique combination of strategic thinking skills, team building talents, commitment to managing the complexities of a multi-line business, and tightly monitoring the fiscal integrity of the company. With over 25 years of experience in the financial field and specific expertise in the logistics marketplace, Bob Lawrence is well suited to fill this post at Deringer.

Bob joined the firm in 2004, having served at the supervisory level at several major public accounting firms for nine years including KPMG, a global provider of audit, tax, and advisory services. Prior to Deringer, Bob held the position of Northern Border Finance Manager for UPS Supply Chain Solutions. Previously, Bob held the position of CFO and Treasurer of Trans-Border Customs Services, Inc., which was acquired by UPS Supply Chain Solutions in 1999.
