    Exciting opportunity to join the A Place for Mom team as an outside sales Healthcare Account Executive. You will be the face of A Place for Mom with the hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in your territory and the families being discharged from the facilities as we grow the business. You are responsible for driving lead generation and move-ins to communities from your book of accounts. You are hungry, excited to build relationships with healthcare professionals, and persistent in finding the most effective approaches to grow each account in order to help more families find the care they need. What You Will Do: Work in a fast-paced, growing industry to help families and professional referral sources with seniors urgently needing to be discharged into a community meeting their needs or with a home care agency as they transition out of a hospital or skilled nursing facility Deliver on your target quota of families selecting a senior care option each month by generating daily qualified patient referrals from your assigned market plan accounts Currently maintains a portfolio of clients (social worker, case managers, and discharger planners) specifically in hospitals and skilled nursing centers within this open territory Develop, own, and grow your book of accounts to increase referral volume in your territory Cultivate new contacts within each account through networking, cold calls, and service presentations, following up with each referral source on discharge outcomes to reinforce the value A Place for Mom delivers Educate families on their care options and how they will work with you and a Healthcare Senior Living Advisor to find the right senior living option as they are discharged Work with your partner Healthcare Senior Living Advisors to deliver on your target quota of families in moving into a community or hiring in home care Leverage and analyze reports in our CRM and internal structure to develop and manage your pipeline Pilot new initiatives, tests, and processes (e.g., account scoring, CRM changes) in your territory and provide feedback to improve the tools and resources at your disposal Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred 3-5 years of outside sales experience as an individual contributor with exceptional prospecting and lead generation abilities Knowledge of the Senior Living Industry Hospital/skilled nursing facility sales experience Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and collaborating with other teams to do so Must be relationship driven with a strategic mindset Successfully demonstrated experience in presenting to target customers and overcoming objections Thrives in a fast-paced, change infused, independent environment with a willingness to roll up your sleeves, test new processes, and get the job done Hungry to learn and improve with a strong competitive approach Expected to travel daily into the accounts in your territory during the 5-day business week (locally) Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels Effective time management skills Technologically focused and proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets and a CRM (Salesforce preferred) Schedule: You will be in the field daily, working with your Regional Director to build your account plan each week to build, nurture, and grow your accounts to deliver on your monthly targets Your time in the field will include scheduled presentations at accounts, calls, and impromptu drop-ins to meet with case managers, discharge planners, doctors, and the patients being discharged Compensation: Base Salary: $90-95K On Target Earnings: $125-130K+ (Uncapped) Benefits: 401(k) plus match Dental insurance Health insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off #LI-LP1 About A Place for Mom A Place for Mom is the leading platform guiding families through every stage of the aging journey. As a Clinical Account Executive (CAE), you will work within a facility or physician's office to coordinate care for all home health or hospice referrals to the agency beginning with the initial referral process. After that initial referral is made, the CAE will continue to coordinate communication regarding the care of all patients being provided care though the home health agency. The CAE is responsible for executing sales strategy of accounts to increase company market share through development and education. Primary Responsibilities: * Coordinates the referral of patients to home health, ensuring that patient choice of the home care services is honored * Evaluates patient's suitability for home health upon request from the physician/facility * Receives referrals from the physician/facility assigned and sends to the appropriate branch of the home health agency * Acts as a liaison between the patient/caregiver and the physician and the home health agency * Schedules and coordinates physician follow up appointments when appropriate * Receives patient reports from the agency field staff and communicates those reports directly to the physician/nurse * Communicates to the home health agency any orders or changes that the physician implements * Responsible for getting the home health physician orders signed and getting a copy of the orders to the home health agency * Follows up to ensure that the original order is mailed or delivered to the home health agency * Facilitates/orders DME equipment after obtaining a signed prescription from the physician. Sets up the delivery of the equipment and any special procedures or outpatient services, when applicable * Facilitates obtaining the proper physician documentation to meet the home health face to face encounter requirement * Communicates with the DON or Branch Manager regarding any complaints or concerns that the physician has. The DON or Branch Manager will follow up to ensure that the issues are handled and corrected appropriately * Provides educational in-services regarding the services provided by the home health agency to physicians, nurses and other practitioners within a facility/physician office You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. As a Solution Sales Executive, you will be a strategic individual contributor responsible for driving Supplemental Benefit and Directed Spend growth across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and Commercial payer markets. You will lead complex sales cycles with current and prospective payer clients, unseat incumbents, and position HealthyBenefits+ as the premier platform for supplemental benefits, directed spend, and member engagement. This role demands a consultative seller with deep payer market expertise, a solid core of sales methodologies, proven growth success, emotional intelligence, and the ability to translate product capabilities into client value. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. Primary Responsibilities: * Sales Execution * Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, targeting payer organizations across MA, Medicaid, and Commercial segments * Lead Proactive Proposal and RFP responses, pricing strategy, partnering with Solutions Consultants to ensure timely, accurate, and strategic proposals * Influence external customers at the VP & C-Suite level as a trusted executive partner * Document opportunity progression and Win Plan details within Salesforce.com * Client Engagement & Relationship Building * Cultivate and develop client and prospective client relationships across executives, decision makers and key influencers * Consult with clients and prospects to understand clients' strategy and business needs to recommend solutions aligned with their program requirements * Drive engagement and delivery of HealthyBenefits+ value story through virtual and on-site executive pitch presentations, demonstrations and proposal presentations * Cross-Functional Collaboration * Partner with Optum Insight growth and account management stakeholders to leverage the breadth of Optum payer solutions and intelligence * Maintain close partnerships with Implementation, Product, Relationship Management teams to ensure solution alignment and client satisfaction You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: * 5+ years of sales and marketing experience including growing a business or portfolio of payer clients within the payer health insurance/financial services industry * 5+ years of experience with supplemental benefits, directed spend, member rewards within Medicare/Medicaid payer markets * 5+ years of experience working with enterprise CRM and Sales tools or methodologies * Experience selling supplemental benefits solutions, including flex card programs, within commercial payer markets. * Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth * Driver's License and access to reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working across UHC, Optum and/or UHC lines of business * Demonstrated success building and evolving relationships with internal C-suite and matrixed stakeholder teams * Proven exceptional communication, negotiation, influencing, and interpersonal skills * Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.
