Growing together.** Position in this function is responsible for drawing blood on patients, performing necessary in-house testing, and preparing specimens sent to reference lab. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Prepares equipment to efficiently collect blood products + Performs venipuncture using vacutainer, syringe and butterfly techniques;. Identifies and labels specimens + Conducts designated laboratory testing + Instructs patients on urine collection procedures.
