Job brief
We are looking for a self-starter Field Service Technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability.
We normally work 8-hour days Monday through Friday and sometimes Saturdays.
This position will entail working throughout the Baltimore, MD metro area for water and wastewater utilities & municipalities.
The job involves manual labor, working with hand tools and specialized equipment, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities include:
Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
Managing all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks
Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining the proper solution
Walk 6-10 miles a day
Standing 6-7 hours a day
Ability to lift 75 lbs, help lift 150 lbs
Knowledge:
Working knowledge of proportional math (decimals, fractions, percentages)
Experience with water distribution or pipe installations is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with Computers and tablet PCs (Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook)

What We're Looking For

Responsibilities

Write DRP complaint estimates (as needed): Write complete estimates after full disassembly and damage discovery, update CE's estimates as needed, and lock final estimates
