Position Overview
We are looking for dynamic bartenders that are excited to serve in a fast paced environment in downtown Nashville. This person can bring the brand of Hit Parader Live to every interaction along with excellent hospitality and quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute quality beverages with excellence in accordance with established Hit Parader Live recipes and standards
Communicate with guests to help them navigate the menu and guide them to the items that would best suit their needs
Multitask and accomplish multiple orders at once in order to get things on the bar in a timely manner
Find opportunities to upsell and give guests a chance to engage with different elements of the menu while also boosting sales
Represent the Hit Parader Live brand in every interaction while providing exceptional hospitality and anticipating needs
Navigate different situations with proper judgement such as knowing when not to serve an intoxicated guest or problem solving a difficult guest interaction
Share about upcoming events and opportunities for guests to enjoy and engage with Hit Parader Live performances
Occasionally help with event set up as needed in coordination with the Entertainment Director
Process payments accurately using the POS system. Handle cash, tips, and end-of-shift procedures with accuracy
Communicate effectively with other members of the team to ensure that orders are completed quickly and guests are satisfied
Clean and maintain bar equipment and utensils, as well as the work area, to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
Continuously seek feedback and ways to improve our processes and customer experience
Ideal Candidate
Must be 18 years of age
Must be TABC Alcohol Certified
2+ years of bartending experience in a high volume establishment
Must have an extensive knowledge of cocktails and spirits
Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-centered attitude
Must be able to work in fast paced, high volume, space while maintaining quality service under pressure with a calm demeanor
Must be able to stay organized and maintain clean spaces
Preferred experience with Toast systems
Must be able to work in a space with live music and manage service with louder decibel levels
Able to move and lift up to 15 pounds and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time, navigate stairs and uneven surfaces in a dimly light environment
Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
Airport Customer Serv/Gate ambassador

**Job Summary Details:** The Gate Ambassador is responsible for overseeing a designated group of gates and ensuring smooth and timely wheelchair passenger transitions. This role supports both the passengers and wheelchair agents by managing gate coordination, organizing wheelchair availability, and assisting with transfers, especially during high-volume situations. The Gate Ambassador acts as a communication bridge between the gate, passenger assistants, shift leaders, and dispatchers. Must be able to work weekends/holidays if part of work schedule. 1st and 2nd shift available, $15.75 pay.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Monitor and manage a group of assigned gates to ensure all passengers who need wheelchairs receive assistance efficiently.
+ Communicate with passengers about the airport and airline services available.
+ Assist with the passengers who need a wheelchair between connecting flights when needed.
+ Support and assign Passenger Assistants when there are multiple passengers or needing extra assistance.
+ Coordinate with dispatcher, coordinator and shift leaders regarding gate assignments, delays, or passenger issues.
+ Report on any issues such as late arrivals, no-shows, or gate changes.
+ Ensure an adequate number of wheelchairs are available and organized for each gate.
+ Maintain awareness of flight schedules and arrival times to anticipate transfer needs.
**Qualifications:**
+ Must be 18 years of age or older.
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Previous experience in customer service. or similar work experience preferred.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
+ Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
+ Effective communication skills and professionalism.
+ Collaborator with an initiative-taking and helpful attitude.
+ Able to lift and maneuver wheelchairs when needed.
+ Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
+ Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.

The Deets:
The primary responsibility of a Bartender is to create an experience that encourages the guest to return to Hawkers Asian Street Food. They must provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional beverage experience for all our guests. A Bartender's primary objective is to show our guests an authentic experience so they will return again and again.
Requirements
Must take and pass all required training courses, assessments as well as continuous training.
Promptly greet guests as they are seated upon arrival, respond appropriately and timely to guests needs.
Share the story of Hawkers and explain the method of service.
Check guest IDs to ensure proper alcohol service compliance.
Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and guests.
Restocking the bar with supplies.
Maintaining cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.
Takes payments in acceptable payment forms and ensures accurate tracking and security of guest information, settling tabs, and balancing registers at the end of shift.
Taking food and To-Go orders as needed.
Assessing guest needs and preferences and making recommendations.
Maintain a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with other team members.
Perform side work at the start, during and end of each shift as assigned.
Be a team player, supporting team members at every opportunity.
Other duties may be assigned as the need arises.
Must have or be willing to obtain Alcohol Serving Certification and understand and follow OSHA and HACCP compliance standards.
Must be 18-21 years of age based on local/state Bartending laws. (NC and VA Currently require 21 years)
