As a AAA Roadside Technician, you will be responsible for providing safe, best-in-class roadside solutions for AAA members. Roadside Assistance Drivers are responsible for responding to member requests for roadside assistance. They ensure member safety, vehicle security, and education to members on possible vehicle issues. In this role, you will provide minor mechanical assistance in an attempt to get the member's vehicle safely back on the road. If not successful, you will then safely tow the disabled vehicle to a member requested destination. You will be considered a hero to several people each and every day!

What you will do:
Build and maintain relationships between Contractor network, the Club (Dispatch, Payment Processing, Auditing, Member Relations, Compliance Administration), and the Club's Preferred Partners.
Conduct regular in-person contractor visits to build relationships, communicate and reinforce AAA program standards, monitor and review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Develop action plans to ensure minimum facility requirements and AAA standards are met.
Analyze territory performance and seasonal resource requirements to ensure service levels are met.
Manage new contractor process, including recruitment, screening, selection, and onboarding.
Provide contractor consulting services regarding operational efficiency, financial performance, and viability.
Support deployment of Road Service systems, technology, and equipment, (e.g. Dispatch system, apps, radios, tablets, testers).
Prepare materials and coordinate contractor group meetings, including operational review meetings, workgroups, club events, and recognition events.
Research industry best practices and technologies and share with peers and contractors.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $64,900 - $73,450 / year. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, shift differentials and experience. The Refrigeration / CapEx Technician will have experience installing commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, as well as troubleshooting capabilities on refrigeration racks, cases, HVAC, and control systems. Your primarily position is to work with the CapEx team to deliver excellent installation/service to achieve 100% equipment operation per scope of work. However, when additional resources are needed in the other areas of the business you may be called upon to assist.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Survey stores and write up scopes of work/repairs needed on existing Refrigeration/HVAC/Control Systems.
Perform installations and equipment replacements for Refrigeration, HVAC, and Control systems.
Ensure completion of Punchlist to maximize system performance.
Collaborate with CFM Technicians, CFM Leadership, Vendors, and other contractors to effect optimal project delivery on all projects when asked.
Assist store technicians with work orders while on site as needed to support business.
Perform onsite work for client in a timely and effective manner. Work primarily to be performed during business hours, however night work may be required from time to time based on requirements.

The Battery Service Tech is responsible for supporting and promoting the goals of the battery program. This position is also responsible for providing safe and best-in-class roadside service solutions for AAA members and ensuring positive member experiences in a Battery vehicle as assigned by management. Battery Service Technicians are responsible for responding to member requests for service within a given ETA (estimated time of arrival). They ensure member safety and vehicle security, educate members on possible issues, and provide jump starts, flat tire replacement, vehicle entries, and other related services. They test all batteries; install and replace batteries as needed; provide roadside diagnostic and repair assistance to disabled member vehicles; promote AAA products and services; ensure complete resolution of member issues. Battery Service Technicians achieve club performance standards for go rates and membership satisfaction. This position is also responsible for providing safe and world-class on-the-go roadside service solutions for AAA members and ensuring positive member experiences in a Battery Service Vehicle while achieving performance standards and member satisfaction rates.

What you will do:
Responds to Member's request for service
Accepts calls and responds to Dispatch or members with ETA to destination; calls members to clarify the location and the potential vehicle issue when appropriate.
Locates members and assesses the safety of the scene on arrival to ensure that the vehicle is in a safe location to provide service so as not to endanger the member or their traveling companions.
Greets members and takes action, as necessary, to deal with their emotional state (e.g. calming down someone who is angry, providing reassurance and advice to someone who is fearful or anxious).
Responsible for effectively communicating all aspects of the battery program clearly to the member. This includes sharing the importance of testing the battery, reinforcing the benefits of the program, and recommending the appropriate battery type.
Report results of all diagnostic testing to the member explaining what additional repairs may be necessary and provides referrals to AAR-approved facilities.
Maintain minimum performance standards in conversion, testing, and installs.
Provides efficient minor mechanical assistance (if trained and equipped) and battery service
Responds to dispatch calls and performs diagnostic testing on a variety of disabled vehicle systems including electrical, battery, starting, charging, ignition, and fuel delivery.
Makes a preliminary determination of the best course of action based on all information collected about the situation. Asks for assistance if unsure about a certain situation.
Performs battery testing on member's vehicles utilizing specialized battery testing equipment. If necessary, performs maintenance on battery terminals, determines whether the battery needs boosting or replacement. Provides battery boost as appropriate; performs proper maintenance on battery terminals, utilizing hazardous materials training; install appropriate batteries on-the-spot; follows all safety procedures in accordance to Club policies and procedures. If towing is required, call for tow.
Maintains AAA high standard of service and image
Maintains service vehicle and equipment in good safe working order (conducts safety checks); maintains an inventory of tools and products to ensure all service calls can be completed.
Follows temporarily repaired vehicles to ensure member safety or transports members to their destination if the vehicle is to be towed (subject to Club policies and procedures).
Operates laptop computer to record van activity, invoicing, cash and credit receipts, and inventory.

Brand Ambassador - Encouraged to use community and social networks to grow business. Processes all travel reservation activity through the appropriate travel and accounting systems; follows department, ARC, WISP (Written Information Security Policy), other federal government regulatory procedures and guidelines, ensuring accuracy and minimizing errors; informs manager of any glitches or inconsistencies in systems. Cross sells other Club products and services, Global Money, AAA Visa. Works with other departments, including but not limited to; Travel Accounting, Product, Business Operations, Training, and Member Relations to coordinate and gather appropriate information for the member or department issues. May participate in travel department promotions and functions; may escort s group tours.
• For MVP/Digital Leads: Nurtures online sales leads-identifies prospective clients' needs and suggests appropriate services; responds to inquiries in a timely fashion; follows up with prospective clients on a regular basis; documents quotes and contact efforts in the Club's CRM system. • Fields Live Support Chat inquiries (requests for quotes, questions about travel requirements/restrictions, etc.). Communicates effectively with clients and prospective clients via their preferred method of communication (phone, chat, videoconferencing, and/or email). • Assists with incoming Travel Center calls as needed.
