Qualifications:
HS Diploma / GED (General Equivalency Diploma)
General knowledge or willingness to learn Microsoft Office suite (including Outlook, Teams, and Word).
Must possess a current valid driver's license in good standing in state of employment and be insurable by the designated carrier. This role is required to drive for company purposes. May require occasional travel up to 10%, including transportation of patients to appointments and/or other treatment locations within the local area. No overnight travel will be required for this position.
CPR/MANDT certification - training provided locally and updated as required.
Preferred:
Six (6) months experience working in a behavioral healthcare setting.
Basic knowledge of addiction and the recovery process.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the wellbeing of patients and provide a safe, positive, supportive, and structured environment.
Serve as a resource for new patients - introducing them to other patients and teammates, explaining programs and encouraging participation.
Be an active participant as part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, and interaction.
Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards patients and teammates always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve concerns.
Act as a role model by applying de-escalation techniques, using active listening skills, using appropriate tone and volume of voice, providing a high frequency and variety of positive reinforcements, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and promoting a positive culture.
Assist in monitoring and maintaining the safety and security of the patients and the facility in collaboration with teammates.
Recognize that patient safety is a top priority by conducting safety checks, ensuring these checks are conducted at intervals in accordance with individualized supervision guidelines (e.g., 15-minute checks, 1-hour checks, etc.).
Document in patient records timely, accurately, and appropriately.
Provide transportation for patients or coordinate transportation with appropriate team members, as required.
Assist with AMA identification and intervention.
Perform other duties as assigned.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of the general ledger and performing other accounting duties related to the month-end close cycle including oversight of senior and staff level accountants. Assure the monitoring and daily flow of all clinical programs and address adaptations in accordance withthe needs of the population we serve including teammate schedule and all program schedules.
Monitor the participation of all patients.
Monitor quality assurance of all clinical records for participants including documentation and confidentiality/ patient
Facilitate and/or co-facilitate clinical meetings to address behavioral and/or clinical concerns, progress, and crisis intervention of all participants.

Assure each patient is assessed and placed according to the treatment phases in accordance with Federal and State standards and agency policies.
Assure all clinical documentation and patient charts updated in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Counsel patients in crisis situations by identifying patient resources and coping abilities to help patients cope with and resolve crisis.
Counsel patients who have refused to comply with specific program requirements to increase patient awareness of consequences of noncompliance.
Arrange referrals to other agencies and resources in the community when appropriate.
Perform treatment plan reviews
Participate in case conferences and case reviews in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the clinical team in patient care decisions and attend all clinical meetings.
Assess counseling needs and conduct substance abuse evaluations using DSM criteria and ASAM guidelines.
Prepare and implement the counseling portion of the patient's treatment plan.
Provide counseling services specified in the treatment plan, including individual counseling, group therapy, and family sessions.
Reassess patients and update treatment plans as needed.
Develop discharge and continuum of care plans to ensure smooth transitions.
Document all counseling services, assessments, referrals, and follow-ups in the patient's clinical record.
Maintain patient caseload, including case management and clinical charting.
Coordinate support services for patients and families and communicate with referral sources.
Attend team meetings, complete required training, and assist with administrative tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work from an accredited college or university (as required by Virginia regulations).
Minimum of three (3) years in substance use treatment, mental health counseling, or a related field.
Must hold licensure per 12VAC30-130-5020, such as:
LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker
LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor
LMFT - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
