Early 70s to mid 80s benefits were very good; employees were valued for contributions and treated well by management. Rewards for performance were excellent.
After it was sold to the British, it lost the family atmosphere created by the Dick family. Other mergers later caused considerable chaos with long-time employees and that is when I decided to move on.
I worked there for 20 years and at 82 years of age I still receive a monthly pension!
The closeness of employees and management and fair treatment.
