Crisis Intervention Specialist Duties: In this role, you will be provide crisis intervention services to individuals in community settings in Licking County. Services being a Public Health Officer, with the ability to write involuntary admissions, and completing Hospital Pre-Screens for Psychiatric admissions or community safety plans, as well as mobile crisis services for children and adults. Each staff is designated a specific shift and location, for a 40 hour work week, with the addition of a one (1), twelve (12) hour On Call shift a month, and on a rotation basis to provide a required holiday coverage, once or twice a year. Crisis Intervention Specialist Duties: In this role, you will be provide crisis intervention services to individuals in community settings in Licking County. Services being a Public Health Officer, with the ability to write involuntary admissions, and completing Hospital Pre-Screens for Psychiatric admissions or community safety plans, as well as mobile crisis services for children and adults. Each staff is designated a specific shift and location, for a 40 hour work week, with the addition of a one (1), twelve (12) hour On Call shift a month, and on a rotation basis to provide a required holiday coverage, once or twice a year. They complete all appropriate case documentation and case planning information, completes all necessary reports per agency policy and protocol, completes appropriate documentation of collateral contacts, and participates in clinical supervision. Other duties include linking client with CPST resources; monitor client care and progress; collaborate with other providers when appropriate. Additionally, Outpatient Children's Therapists attend required meetings, and provides other administrative functions as needed, while conforming to all relevant agency standards/regulations. Additional duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or closely related field required, Master's degree preferred. Ohio licensure (such as LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC) is required. Position requires a working knowledge of the DSM-5-TR, family dynamics, and of various psychotherapy modalities and techniques. Position requires an ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary agency team, to communicate and relate effectively with individuals of all ages and families, understanding the Recovery model and working in this model with families, and to be sensitive and attentive to the cultural needs of each client and family.
