About the Role
Our TechOps team is excited to bring on a Data QA Engineer Intern to support a critical feature delivery team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in data quality, testing, and modern data engineering practices. As part of the Connector Factory team, you will help validate and support data pipelines that ingest, transform, and process diverse data sources. You'll gain exposure to large-scale batch and streaming systems, as well as key AWS technologies such as Lambda, EMR (Hadoop/Spark), and EKS (Kubernetes). This internship will give you broad visibility into our platform and a chance to contribute to the ongoing evolution of our data architecture. You'll learn industry best practices, collaborate with experienced engineers, and play a meaningful role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data products as the organization continues to grow rapidly.
Your day to day:
Assist in estimating effort for QA tasks under the guidance of senior team members.
Review requirement and mapping documents to help identify potential gaps or clarifications needed.
Support the creation of test scenarios and contribute to writing basic ETL test cases.
Learn to interpret various input file layouts and participate in parser validation activities.
Write simple Source and Target SQL queries to support data validation efforts.
Contribute to automating data validation workflows using tools such as PySpark or Databricks.
Help prepare test data, including generating synthetic datasets that mimic real-world scenarios.
Assist in writing SQL queries to validate User Acceptance Criteria.
Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
Participate in daily Agile ceremonies and follow Agile practices as part of the delivery team.
Document QA activities using test management tools and Jira.
Collaborate with onsite and offshore team members to support day-to-day QA tasks.
What you bring to the team:
Interest in learning about healthcare data and foundational ETL concepts.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering).
Basic understanding of data management principles and data storage concepts.
Exposure to data analysis through coursework or projects, with a willingness to work with large datasets.
Familiarity with SQL and a desire to develop stronger querying skills.
Interest in ETL testing or big data validation, even if only through academic or personal projects.
Some experience with Python scripting from classes or hands-on exercises.
Familiarity with PySpark or Databricks through coursework, labs, or online learning is beneficial.
Basic understanding of cloud platforms AWS, DataBricks is a plus.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and optimization of payment integrity data products for healthcare payers, with focus on both prospective and retrospective solutions that enhance claims accuracy, prevent improper payments, accelerate payment recovery, and support regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in payment integrity operations and analytics, 3-5 years of data product management experience, be knowledgeable of the application of GenAI to payment integrity use cases and have a demonstrated history of successfully delivering payment integrity solutions to healthcare payers. You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team to deliver innovative data products that solve data usability challenges, accelerate business value, and improve efficiency for US healthcare payers.
Your day to day:
Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and execute product strategy for assigned data products in alignment with company objectives and payer business needs. Define and prioritize product roadmap and features aligned to business objectives.
Domain and Subject Matter Expertise: Leverage your experience and expertise in US healthcare payer data, payment integrity operations and analytics, and US health insurance markets to oversee and manage the product development lifecycle for payment integrity data products.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with cross-functional team members, including Subject-matter Experts, Data modeling, Data quality and telemetry, Sales, and Customer Success, to deliver data products on time and within scope. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure effective communication across all functions.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders (internal and clients) to gather requirements, understand business needs, and align product features with unmet buyer needs and client expectations. Communicate product vision, updates, and performance metrics clearly and effectively to all stakeholders.
Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure data solutions' success and identify opportunities for improvement. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous enhancement of data solutions.
What you bring to the team:
Product Management Experience: 3+ years of product management experience including product strategy execution, data analytics proficiency, agile delivery, and relevant technologies and tools.
Domain Expertise: US healthcare payer data, payer operations and/or analytics, Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace, and Commercial health insurance programs.
Subject Matter Expertise. Healthcare payment integrity including both prospective and retrospective approaches and hands-on experience with relevant data sources and datasets (e.g. claims, provider, member, enrollment, contracts/fee schedules, notes, etc.).
Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts, tell a story, and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Collaborative Approach: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts across multiple roles and functions to achieve product objectives.
Self-starter. Demonstrated ability to drive workstreams independently, leader with influence, and manage risks with strong compass on when to escalate issues.
Agility. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, maturing start-up environment.
What we would like to see, but not required:
Background/demonstrable experience in application of GenAI to operational and/or analytic payment integrity use cases.
Relevant certification: Product Management, Big Data, Data Analytics (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate).
Experience with data analytics, data management and visualization tools (e.g. SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools.
Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Management).

About the Role:
As a skilled and mission-driven Senior Data Solutions Engineer, you will lead, direct, drive and participate in the day-to-day operations of a team of software, and UI/UX engineers working closely with QA engineers, product owners and business. About the Role
The DevOps Team focuses on improving the telemetry and availability of Abacus' product offerings while contributing to the sustainability of engineering practices across the organization. As the "engineers behind the engineers," we handle a diverse set of tasks from across the DevOps spectrum. In this role, you will work in many contexts, using a variety of tools and technologies to remove obstacles and keep the engineering organization moving efficiently and effectively. Your day to day:
Architect, build, and maintain secure, scalable, HIPAA- and HITRUST-compliant infrastructure on multiple cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
Define DevOps architecture best practices and lead the strategic direction for CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to design robust infrastructure solutions.

As a Billing Analyst, you will play an essential role on our billing team, reporting to the team leader. You will use your analytical skills, attention to detail, and people skills to ensure correct invoicing to our clients. You will collaborate cross-functionally, both internally and with clients, to answer billing-related questions, drive process improvements related to billing, and contribute to other projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT billing specialist looking to make an impact at a successful, rapidly growing Managed Service Provider.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
Communicate with teams across the organization to get answers to questions that relate to billing, and respond to client billing questions submitted via the billing ticket board
Collect clean & validate data to produce a monthly billing reconciliation report, which is a critical step in our monthly recurring revenue billing process
Complete monthly invoice variance analysis by customer and product
Lead “first invoice review” meetings for onboarding clients, collaborating with Sales, Project Management (PM), and Client Experience Management (CXM) teams to ensure billable accuracy from the start
Prepare and send invoices to clients
Skilled in developing and updating process documentation to support operational efficiency
Ad-hoc projects and reports as required

Must be in an Eastern or Central time zone

About the Role

Your day to day
Define and deliver AI strategy - Drive the development and deployment of advanced AI models and systems that power Abacus products (e.g., Abacus Agents, MCP, SQL and RAG tools).
Lead cross-functional collaboration - Work closely with AI engineers, data engineers, and product teams to create solutions that boost user productivity and satisfaction.
Manage and mentor teams - Oversee software development teams (30+ engineers) across multiple product lines, guiding architecture decisions, coding standards, and organizational best practices.
Drive innovation and execution - Lead critical projects in AI and data engineering, ensure roadmap delivery, and maintain high quality standards.
Influence architecture and operations - Participate in architectural discussions, improve processes for Agile/Scrum teams, and balance roadmap commitments with operational priorities.
Scale for growth - Coach and develop talent, evolve team structure toward 50+ engineers, and foster a culture of excellence.
What you bring to the team
At least 8 years in engineering roles, including 3-5 years managing technical teams.
At least 4 years in ML/AI engineering within high-growth environments or equivalent academic research experience.
At least 2 years working with Databricks, Mosaic AI Gateway, and related Data+AI technologies.
Must have hands-on experience with generative models, embeddings, fine-tuning, evaluation benchmarks, and agentic workflows (orchestration, observability, debugging)
Must have experience in RAG, SQL Agents, MCP.
Proven success managing engineering teams/projects to deliver production-grade systems; this includes personnel, performance, deliverables management, mentoring, coaching, etc
Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and scalable ML/AI architectures; strong coding and software engineering principles.
Experience building distributed, scalable systems for data processing (10s-100s TB).
Strong analytical/problem-solving abilities, familiarity with adjacent roles (product, project, operations), and ability to influence technical discussions.
What we would like to see, but not required
Exposure to Snowflake, FHIR, or healthcare data.
Compensation: Compensation for this role is based on experience, skills, and location, and includes base salary plus eligibility for performance bonuses and equity grants.
