THE OPPORTUNITY
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for having a thorough working knowledge of all Plant Material Control job functions and applicable department equipment and system ie. Forklift, Cambar, HK Systems, TTMS, AMAPS, MITS, AES. The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for receiving, loading, unloading, cleaning, creating bills of lading
(BOL's), casepicking, assuming computer room responsibilities as needed & performing full functionality in the Shipping Office while maintaining compliance to all GMP, Safety and Quality guidelines. Must meet all safety and housekeeping requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Loading, unloading, case picking, barcoding, and palletizer operations:
Performs all tasks safely, assures accurate documentation, follows all procedures/guidelines, assures trailers are loaded to meet weight requirements, performs all tasks in an efficient and effective manner
Receiving Operations
Creates very accurate & legible documentation, performs data entry accurately, maintains all applicable databases with needed information, efficiently process inbound pallets through the proper process and into the ASRS system.
Shipping/Receiving office functions:
Release orders in a timely manner, assure all documentation is accurate, address people in a professional manner, assure all databases are accurately maintained with timely entries, assure BOL's are signed/dated by Common Carrier Driver and the Clerk during the shift
Must communicate safety and GMP concerns to Plant Material Control/Columbus Distribution Center leadership and follow up to assure the concerns are addressed
Must communicate via verbal and email with all parties of the business.
Accountable for personal safety and adhering to the safety guidelines.
Ability to make decisions based on awareness of the area operations is necessary.
Must be able to lift and maneuver objects of considerable weight (50 lbs).
This position is accountable for complying with applicable FDA (GMP), USDA, OSHA and Abbott Nutritional Supply Chain regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines.
SHIFT
12-hour night shift with rotating weekends - 6:00pm to 6:30am

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED
This position requires excellent written/verbal communication skills, very good interpersonal skills, analytical troubleshooting skills, ability to multitask & a very good team player.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
6+ months Prior job experience within the Plant Material Control/Columbus Distribution Center is preferred.
Forklift experience preferred
Experience with tools and equipment related to the position is desired (hand tools, wearing of full body harness, sit-down forklift, stand up pick vehicle, computer knowledge/skills).

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Safely operate the high-speed production equipment that makes our industry-leading nutrition products
The operator must be able to start up and shutdown all equipment according to established procedures or specifications and perform minor to major clearing of jams and downtime issues on the line.
The operator must report any abnormal equipment function, or product problems to the Supervisor.
Maintain inventory of packaging materials and complete work order documentation.
Perform quality checks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
The operator is responsible for the safe operations of all equipment, promptly report all incidents, injuries, or safety hazards.
The operator is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area by utilizing all 5S cleaning and tools necessary to keep the area clean and clear of debris, yet neat and organized.
The operator is responsible for adhering to the product isolation procedures, along with sampling and proper identification of product status.
The operator must ensure that both products and materials are of proper identification, correct codes and expiration dates.
This position is accountable for complying with applicable FDA, GMP, OSHA and Abbott/Ross regulations, policies, procedures or guidelines.
SHIFT + PAY
Pay: $20.05/hour plus 5% shift premium
Rotating 12-hour night shift - 6:00pm to 6:30am

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED
Prior manufacturing, production line, and/or machine/equipment operator experience
Ability to communicate pertinent line information to both production and support group personnel.
A high level of attention to detail is required.
Must be able to maintain accurate and legible records such as Production Counts, Material Usage/Losses and properly document information on Batch Work orders as per the company procedures.
Must be able to maintain an adequate supply of materials to the equipment in operation, and monitor supply usage and correct releases.

Functions
The Senior Engineering will support the development and implementation of automated and semi-automated combination product assembly equipment initiatives as part of the Finished Drug Product (FDP) product portfolio at the Amgen Ohio manufacturing site. Technical Lead
Act as the site technical expert for automated and semi-automated device assembly for FDP and non-combination products. Be the technical expert for new process and existing device assembly technology. The candidate is expected to use technical process knowledge and identify the required expertise to resolve process challenges as needed. Technical expertise in combination product assembly is required.
The candidate will also be responsible for conducting the Commissioning, Qualification and Validation of process and GMP equipment located at AOH. They will own the site master validation plan for GMP equipment and will be responsible for the maintenance and execution of this.
Operational Excellence
Responsible for supporting the delivery of productivity, throughput and general capacity improvements across the AOH site by analyzing, designing, and implementing manufacturing and business process improvements.
