WHAT YOU'LL DO * Safely operate the high-speed production equipment that makes our industry-leading nutrition products * The operator must be able to start up and shutdown all equipment according to established procedures or specifications and perform minor to major clearing of jams and downtime issues on the line. * The operator must report any abnormal equipment function, or product problems to the Supervisor. * Maintain inventory of packaging materials and complete work order documentation. * Perform quality checks and troubleshoot equipment issues. * The operator is responsible for the safe operations of all equipment, promptly report all incidents, injuries, or safety hazards. * The operator is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area by utilizing all 5S cleaning and tools necessary to keep the area clean and clear of debris, yet neat and organized. * The operator is responsible for adhering to the product isolation procedures, along with sampling and proper identification of product status. * The operator must ensure that both products and materials are of proper identification, correct codes and expiration dates. * This position is accountable for complying with applicable FDA, GMP, OSHA and Abbott/Ross regulations, policies, procedures or guidelines. Job Summary This position is responsible for the activities to ensure proper physical and systematic control and accuracy of inventory into, within, and out of the Mesa operations at both a component and finished goods level. This position is responsible for accurate inventory control, fulfilling of work orders and transfer orders and general warehouse material movement. Duties/Responsibilities Work Order Fulfilling: • Prepare, package, and deliver work orders as requested by Manufacturing leadership • Fulfill shortages from work orders as material arrives via PO receipt process. • Load trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment. • Verify accuracy of orders, quantities, and lot/serial information. Receiving: • Perform the below duties as a back-up/cross-trained resource • Receive inbound materials, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and delivery documentation. • Inspect incoming materials for damage, discrepancies, and quality requirements; escalate issues as needed. • Enter receipts and inventory movements into ERP systems with high accuracy. • Route received items to appropriate departments or storage locations. Material Handling & General Warehouse Activities: • Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse, staging areas, and storage locations. • Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, scanners, and other equipment. • Track and report inventory variances and support root-cause investigation. Documentation & Compliance: • Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation in compliance with company policies and ISO/quality standards. • Follow all safety procedures and participate in ongoing safety programs. • Ensure compliance with hazardous materials handling (if applicable). Team & Continuous Improvement: • Support training and onboarding of new warehouse operators. • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Experience/Education Required: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred: • Experience with international shipments (commercial invoices, export documentation, customs requirements). • Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001 or similar). • 1-6 years of experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role in a manufacturing environment. • Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor) and barcode scanners. • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principles. Summary: Performs basic grain elevator operations duties including: receiving grain, accurately weighing & grading and placing in proper bins; loads out grain according to contract specifications; maintains facility, equipment, and grounds. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Accurately weigh and grade inbound and outbound grain, enter all required fields in scale computer, and place grain in proper bin. Notify grain hedge desk of all grain purchases immediately. Perform routine inventory measurements and monitor grain quality; record and report data. Maintain the cleanliness of the facility (inside & outside) and rolling stock on a routine basis. Perform yard maintenance including driveways, mowing, weed control, and snow removal. Assist with routine equipment maintenance, inspections and repairs. This includes but is not limited to: Constant observation and detection of abnormal equipment operation. Monitor bearings and leg belt alignment. Lubrication of bearings and gearboxes as necessary. Inspection and adjustment of conveyor chain tension. Ensure that mobile equipment is operational. Identify grain and dust leaks and repair immediately. Notify supervisor if maintenance assistance is required. Accurately blend and load out truck grain. Maintain accurate documentation as required for housekeeping, maintenance, and safety. Clean bin bottoms annually. Operate grain dryer (if applicable) Participate in the loading of trains. Learn to operate the trackmobile and/or locomotive, the rail bulk scale and procedure for railcars. Assist other grain locations or departments as necessary including helping with train loading and the agronomy department in the spring. The Material Handler/Truck Driver is responsible for providing material handling services and driving company truck for deliveries or pickups, as needed. Provide material handling and warehouse services to the production operation. Assist in tracking jobs, inventories, supplies, equipment, and weights of recycling and/or secure document destruction materials. Prepare any shipping materials and documents as required by customer using one of the following methods: a trucking service, FedEx, UPS or the Bridgeway delivery program.
