Handle cash and credit transactions; properly invoice/credit customer accounts.
Assists junior employees with process and trains on correct handling as needed.
Reports concerns and identifies improper transactions to appropriate manager immediately.
Completes required training to stay current in industry knowledge to better serve customers.
Prioritize the order of delivery items and assign deliveries to drivers.
Follows up on critical delivery items to ensure customer expectations are met.
Correctly handle new and defective core returns from customers, insure proper customer credit and complete necessary paperwork.
Open and/or close store as scheduled.
Work home store inventory/assist in other location's inventory, if assigned.
Clean (pick-up trash, sweep, mop, etc.
) and maintain inside and outside of building area.
Potential supervisory duties in the absence of the store manager.
Assist other workers within the store and direct their tasks when needed.
Perform any other tasks as assigned.
