Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Refine and expand our approach to coverage of markets, finance, and personal finance, elevating our journalism and growing our audience.
Help drive the newsroom's hourly and daily operations, making quick editorial decisions and ensuring stories are moved with both speed and care.
Manage, assign, and edit multiple reporters and their stories, ensuring high-quality and timely publishing.
Cultivate a culture of journalistic excellence and digital growth, mentoring and developing reporters.
Foster strong, collaborative relationships with other editors and reporters in the newsroom.
This position includes at least some early-morning or evening shifts.
Qualifications:
At least 1-3 years’ experience assigning and editing stories for a digital news publisher. Prior experience as a reporter or editor covering markets and finance is a must.
Sharp assignment and line editing skills and the ability to juggle multiple stories of different types and on different topics.
Deep understanding of digital best practices for news audience growth, including story selection and framing, headline writing, distribution and platforms, and SEO.

This is a position covered under the collective bargaining agreement with the WGA-E at a minimum of $80,000.00 with a range of up to $95,000.00 annually, dependent upon years of related experience.

To compile its ranking, the personal finance site compared the job markets and economic environment in all 50 states. It then assessed those two factors based on 34 metrics, such as compensation, employment outlook, commute times, job protections and how insulated positions are from being taken over by artificial intelligence.
**The top state for job seekers**
New Hampshire has the best job market in the nation, according on WalletHub, which also ranked the state's broader economic environment in the top 10. The state stands out for its 2% unemployment rate, for the U.S. a whole, as well as abundant job opportunities, solid employment growth and high level of job security, WalletHub found.
“To top things off, New Hampshire has the lowest percentage of the workforce living in poverty, which demonstrates that workers are generally receiving reasonable pay,” the report states.
Vermont, at No. 2, has an equally low unemployment rate, plus the highest average annual jobs growth rate in the U.S. and the second-highest number of job opportunities per capita, the analysis shows. Only 0.5% of the state's labor force has been unemployed for 15 weeks or longer, the third-lowest percentage in the U.S., according to WalletHub.
Minnesota, with a thriving health care industry, ranked third. Its workers also have good access to health care and retirement benefits.
Jobs are harder to come by in states such as West Virginia, Louisiana, Indiana, Kentucky, and Alaska, according to WalletHub.
“These are very low-income, rural states, and a lot of work there is usually seasonal,” Lupo said. “So a lot of work there is usually seasonal, and there is a lack of full-time job opportunities.”

Administrative
Responsible for the work flow of reservations Overseeing Maître D' confirmation emails, reservations release, pre-service meetings and service at the front door.

Responsible for daily floor plans, line-up notes, and other preservice necessities
Scheduling of guest relations team

**Role Overview**
As a Research Analyst, you will play an integral role in supporting advertising insights. You will be helping our clients and internal stakeholders understand media behaviors, player engagement, consumer habits, and advertising sentiment across our gaming portfolio. Working within the Advertising Insights team, you will assist in custom research, create stories around insights, and develop materials that demonstrate the value of advertising with Activision Blizzard Media.
The hybrid-working role is based in New York City, NY or London, UK as part of a broader team that spans the globe.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Insights Development: Pull and translate data findings into clear, actionable insights that help shape marketing narratives, client RFPs, and product recommendations.
* Research Project Support: Assist in custom research initiatives aimed at deepening the media industry's understanding of gamers and informing the business' ad product strategy. This support will include vendor management and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, sales, and data science teams.
* Sales Enablement: Provide insights support to strengthen client relationships and drive direct advertising revenue in partnership with the internal sales and marketing teams.
**Skills & Attributes**
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
* Experience: 1-2 years in research, data analysis, or measurement; domain knowledge in advertising or gaming-related research a plus.
* Technical proficiencies:
+ Competence in Excel and Powerpoint required
+ Familiarity with audience insights tools (e.g., MRI-Simmons, GlobalWebIndex, com Score) preferred
+ Experience with SPSS, SQL, R, Python, or data visualization tools a plus
* Data analysis: Comfortable analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing data, preferably with experience in statistical methods.
* Insight Storytelling: Ability to turn data into actionable insights and weave insights into narratives that the sales team can take to advertisers.
* Research skills: Familiarity with quantitative and/or qualitative methodologies, research design, questionnaire development, survey programming, monitoring data collection and response rates, etc

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $55,800.00 - $103,230.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
