Benefits:

Associates that are considered full-time hourly or commission/incentive eligible:
To earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year accrued on a per pay period basis and between 80 hours and 200 hours per year of vacation time after a 90 day waiting period depending on years of continuous service with the Company.
For 8 hours of pay for each of a total of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday. If such an Associate does work on a scheduled holiday due to business need, they are eligible for Holiday Premium Pay.

PURPOSE
The Associate Global Service Engineer acts as a critical liaison between the Global Service organization and Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) teams while supporting the New Product Development (NPD) teams. This role focuses on ensuring serviceability in the design of Bayer Radiology medical devices, leading the development of service documentation, and integrating field service considerations into product designs. Additionally, the [Title] monitors product reliability, the training of field service teams and drives process efficiencies to enhance overall service performance and customer satisfaction. The Global Service Engineering team is accountable for executing the overall service initiatives for each injector in the Radiology portfolio.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Contribute to the maintenance of medical equipment service documentation, including service plans, manuals, installation guides, and preventative maintenance procedures, for both new product development and sustaining products;
* Participate in the Design for Serviceability of Bayer Radiology medical devices, including gathering global service requirements and contributing to prototype builds to enhance repairability and replaceability;
* Support the development of service tools, kits, and processes for global field service teams;
* Support processes and tools development to enable trained field service personnel to install, troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on Radiology medical devices;
* Monitor the reliability performance of fielded products, identifying quality enhancement opportunities through field service report analyses;
* Support the escalation process for field service and regional TAC teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on feedback;
* Identify and implement servicing process efficiencies to improve injector delivery performance metrics, such as mean time to repair and first-time fix rates;
* Support the Global Service organization's business and operational strategies during product development and lifecycle engineering initiatives;
* Interface with country/regional service leadership, technical assistance centers, and end-user customers to monitor equipment performance and product reliability;
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including NPD, LCE, Quality, Software, Cybersecurity, and Product Supply, to identify failure root causes and drive continuous improvement in product reliability and field service processes;
* Aids global field service implementation for hardware and software changes to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction;
* Manage service master data tables to ensure effective field service processes (ServiceMax, SAP, Salesforce);
* Initiate software package distribution to field service engineers and distributors through PassLink software manager as required;
* Attend weekly cross-product Lifecycle Engineering meetings to provide service perspectives on upcoming changes and their impact on the service organization;
* Assist CAPA and QIA corrective and preventative actions and conduct root cause analysis for service-impacted processes;
* Complete training and approvals per company and service policies, serving as a service approver in the PLM system for engineering changes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree or Associates Degree with 5+ yrs related experience;
* Experience in service, manufacturing or designing electro- mechanical systems. Design-for-manufacturing or service product development experience;
* Understanding and experience working with electro-mechanical systems including their controls;
* 5+ years experience within a technical discipline, with knowledge across breadth of discipline and significant depth in one or more technical specialties;
* Engineering knowledge crossing into multiple technical disciplines;

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $96,040.00 to $144,060.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..

You will manage market-escape containment, drive root-cause analysis, and implement durable corrective and preventive actions that reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ) while boosting customer trust. This role is remote-friendly in the U.S., with a strong preference for Eastern Time and proximity to Cincinnati, OH or New York, NY for field and partner site visits.
About the Job
Lead end-to-end triage of field quality issues for electronic and electrical subsystems (e.g., PCBAs, power, batteries, sensors, displays), from detection and containment to verified long-term corrective actions.
Manage and mentor a small team of field and quality engineers, setting clear KPIs (e.g., DPPM, RMA rate, MTTR) and driving accountability across cross-functional stakeholders.
Own the 8D/5-Why/FMEA process to identify true root causes, align on interim and permanent fixes, and prevent recurrence across the fleet and supply chain.
Partner with R&D, contract manufacturers, and suppliers to validate fixes (design, process, firmware) via DOE, bench validation, and on-device field trials; ensure changes are fully qualified and documented in PLM.
Build and maintain a FRACAS and quality dashboard that turns data into action; quantify COPQ drivers and prioritize the highest-impact remediation work.
Establish robust incoming, in-process, and end-of-line quality controls for E&E components; influence test coverage, screening, and reliability guardrails for new and sustaining builds.
Serve as the visible point of contact for escalations, communicating status and risk with clarity to customers and executives while coordinating rapid on-the-ground response.
Support regulatory, safety, and EMC/EMI compliance considerations in field fixes and product changes in collaboration with compliance and engineering partners.

About You
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in hardware quality, field quality, or reliability engineering focused on electronics/electrical systems for deployed products.
3+ years of experience leading engineers or technicians, including setting goals and developing talent.
Proven ownership of 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, CAPA, and FRACAS processes with measurable improvements in DPPM/RMA/MTTR or similar KPIs.
Hands-on debug skills using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers; ability to read schematics and perform board-level triage.
Experience driving fixes across design, firmware, process, and test with contract manufacturers and suppliers.

Evaluates, maintains, and modifies established ‘best practices' for infrastructure maintenance and asset management
Maintains consistent documentation for system configurations, installation and administration procedures.
Utilizes configuration automation tools such as NinjaOne, PowerShell, Active Directory, VBScript.
Interacts regularly with senior engineers to identify, build, and implement automation to drive greater efficiencies and standards
Deploys, configures, manages and maintains system monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, CheckMK, Splunk, Windows Server tools.
Organizes priorities, escalate problems as needed and communicate effectively with manager, co-workers and other staff members.
Consults with Ingram associates, vendors, and trading partners to evaluate business opportunities related to our technology infrastructure
Hiring Salary Range: $95,295 - $120,834. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

* Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain all of the software applications and peripheral equipment used within AFW
* POS terminals, receipt printers, barcode scanners, barcode printers, signature captures, card readers, etc.

Job Expectations
* Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk ticketing system
* Respond to customer calls into the help desk support line
* Create step-by-step training material with screenshots for customers
* Provide technical assistance and support for incoming concerns and issues related to systems, software, and hardware
* Document internal procedures
* Collect feedback to determine patterns and issues such that they can be resolved or turned into FAQs that are easily understood to ease self-troubleshooting
* Maintain daily performance of computer systems
* Work through the problem-solving process with customers, empowering them to do the same in the future
* Run diagnostic scans to resolve problems before they are reported
* Train incoming staff
* Escalate significant and recurring issues to the tier-3 support team
* Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LA), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems
