What You'll Do • Install, commission, test, and maintain SCADA, EMS, and networking equipment including RTUs, IEDs, routers, switches, AMI/DA systems, and substation automation platforms. • Support and repair telecommunications systems such as Ethernet and TDM microwave, GPRS, two-way radio, power line carrier, and unlicensed wireless. • Install and maintain fiber-optic systems, power line carrier equipment, line tuners, and protective relaying circuits. • Perform maintenance at communications sites-generators, ATS units, battery banks, HVAC, security systems, dehydrators, and tower lighting. • Keep firmware and software updated across SCADA, microwave, network, and testing devices. • Prepare and maintain test reports, configuration files, and field redline drawings. • Ensure compliance with FAA, FCC, and NERC maintenance and documentation requirements. • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for emergency and unscheduled system support. • Work closely with engineering, operations, member cooperatives, vendors, and circuit providers.
