This individual serves food and beverages in a friendly, courteous and professional manner from the various locations they will be working and engages the members/guests according to high standards of quality. Mix and serve drinks to customers. Assist servers to meet customer's needs. Maintain and abide by all state and local liquor laws. Responsible for inventory and assistance with ordering when needed. Maintain a positive, cheerful and friendly demeanor with customers and co-workers. Essential job functions: Serve all food and beverages from the Beverage Cart to golfers and guests. Service golfers in outings and private events according to the details on the BEO. Safely drive the golf course and maintain frequent and friendly sales and service opportunities with guests. Employ upselling and cross-selling strategies while informing guests about upcoming events and specials. Ensure the proper storage of all items from equipment to beverages and perishable foods. Knowledge of Golf Course Etiquette Maintain beverage cart in a clean and orderly fashion. Complete assigned side-work and prep-work. Perform other related duties that may be assigned by Management. Assess member/guest needs and preferences and make recommendations Check member/guest identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Prepare drink orders according to specified recipes using measuring systems. Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs. Process all payment methods. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank. Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas. Complete closing duties. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors Plan and present bar menu Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Preform other duties as requested Physical Demands: Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk and crouch Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
