The Clinical Manager is responsible for the coordination of high quality, cost-effective patient care. • Supports the knowledge and skills development of new RNS and LPNs, individually and in small groups including but not limited to documentation, case management, clinical skills, patient/family-centered care, reimbursement, time management, customer experience, etc.
• Demonstrates and reviews specific procedures with RNs and LPNs, individually and as a group, as needed. Makes joint visits with field clinicians to observe and instruct in current/new techniques/ procedures/treatments and overall assessments in alignment with VNS Health policies and procedures. Assignments require visits in multiple regions.

Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications:
A license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required and
Valid driver's license required and
Wound Care Certification or willingness to obtain within one year of hire required

Education:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General and Staff Related:
Provide day to day guidance, support and direction to direct patient care staff, providing informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback input for the annual performance evaluation. Participate in the department staffing and the appropriate hiring, firing and disciplinary actions. Recommend disciplinary action to Clinical Manager and initiate as appropriate.

Pay Rate $40.00 hour Sign-on bonus: $7,500 Shift: Night Shift Key Responsibilities: * Supervise nursing staff including LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality resident care. * Coordinate daily staffing, patient care assignments, and clinical activities.
* Administer medications, treatments, and wound care per resident care plans.
* Provide direct resident care and respond to changes in resident conditions.
* Support interdisciplinary collaboration and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Assist in onboarding, mentoring, and performance coaching for team members.
* Document accurately and report changes in resident conditions to providers and leadership.
Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse (RN) required
* 1+ year RN experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care preferred
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience a plus
* Strong clinical assessment, communication, and time-management skills
* Ability to supervise and motivate staff while promoting a positive culture
