POSITION OVERVIEW Under the supervision of the Senior Administrator, the Program Director ensures quality care and oversees the functions of the program according to regulatory bodies and accreditation requirements. This individual is responsible for the oversight and implementation of care and resources for the purpose of meeting the physical, emotional and social needs of clients. The Program Director provides clinical supervision and oversight of all programs' services and works to develop, implement, track, report, and evaluate measurable outcomes. The requirements listed below represent some of the knowledge, skill and or abilities required. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Oversight of program services including plan, develop and monitor day-to-day operations for the residential OASAS licensed residential program. Oversight of the hiring process and provide leadership, guidance, direction, and supervision to all staff Supervise the managers of the residential program (e.g. clinical supervisor, medical director, operations supervisor, etc.) Participate in program evaluation activities and deliver (or learn to deliver) services using evidenced-based practices. Review and approval of initial needs assessment and initial treatment plans, as needed Knowledge of Federal, State, and City regulatory requirements and ensures that all aspects of clinical care conforms to these requirements. Establish and foster community/provider relationships. Participate in agency management and planning activities. Ensure client substance abuse and other therapeutic groups engaging and meets the needs of population including trips, events, etc. Work as clinical supervisor to provide individual and clinical group supervision to counselors and other clinical staff. Meet regularly with clinical supervisor to discuss and monitor program effectiveness. Perform utilization reviews, monitoring case records, ensuring compliance with all contract stipulations. Review OASAS Website keeping updated with 820 regulations and local service bulletins. Ensure clinical staff conduct periodic audit of client services and documentation. Oversee case reviews, and case conferences, as needed. Submit monthly and/or quarterly reports to executive management and/or performance based contractors. Provide crisis intervention with clients, as needed. Facilitate team meetings and staff development activities. Conduct, attend, and participate in department director's local and national meetings, conferences, coalitions, etc. Interact with support services Administrative interaction with clinical components Ensure that element staff/supervisors are regularly attending Team Management Meetings Multi-disciplinary team meetings Case conferences and utilization review meetings Other duties as assigned by supervisor. REQUIREMENTS Master's Degree in Sociology, Psychology or Bachelor in Human Services Field /CASAC A Qualified Health Professional (CASAC; LCSW; LMSW; NP; MD; PA; Psychologist; Rehabilitation Counselor; LMFT; LMHC) in good standing with the appropriate licensing or certifying authority. Valid and unrestricted New York State License, and/or OASAS certification as Advanced CASAC or Masters CASAC, and/or Commission of Rehabilitation Counselor Certification At Least five years of full-time work experience in Substance Use Disorder or related treatment field, prior to appointment as Program Director. Experience in management Proficient computer skills including using electronic health record Strong follow-up skills required Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in and be sensitive to a culturally diverse environment Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure and operate with a keen sense of urgency and commitment to quality. POSITION OVERVIEW In collaboration with the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development. ACDP not-for-profit organization that provides year-round educational programs and seasonal summer camp for underserved youth. Seeking Assistant Program Director to support DYCD funded Afterschool Program. Assist with supervising staff; reviewing program content; forming community relations with key stakeholders. Responsible for conducting themselves in an appropriate manner, setting the example for children, parents, and co-workers. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience working with youth, ideally in a after-school setting, and an understanding of social emotional learning and conflict mediation. Help to support Daily functions of the OST-COMPASS program and in conjunction with Program Director, maintain management and strengthen connections between academic learning and enrichment. POSITION OVERVIEW Program Director will provide clinical oversight and quality assurance to all unlicensed and licensed staff clinicians who provide substance and alcohol abuse services in chemical dependence within the integrated outpatient treatment program. The program director is legally responsible for adherence to all applicable licensing, supervision, billing, documentation requirements and overseeing the timeliness and quality of a staff member's clinical work. The program director is responsible for oversight of case record reviews, performance improvement, quality improvement and utilization review to include all required monthly reports. POSITION OVERVIEW The SAMSHA grant CCBHC Project Director is responsible for leadership in the provision of high-quality behavioral health services and the effectiveness of clinical and administrative services for the CCBHC expansion grant. The position incorporates staff leadership, supervision and a range of administrative tasks related to ensuring scope of the CCBHC across the program and collaboration with the CCBHC and SUD team, including clinical supervisors and the larger behavioral health portfolio. She/he is responsible for maintaining OASAS regulatory compliance and serves as a leader in driving quality improvement and delivery of the CCBHC. Under the supervision of the Senior Administrator, the requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The provider ensures strengths based, person-centered quality of care provided in a culturally and linguistically meaningful therapeutic environment. Responsible for the enhancement of health indicators services of CCBHC client population Monitors the grant related health indicators as per meeting the disparity statement, and evidence-based treatment through a single point of entry (integrated care, follow up and prevention). Formulate grant IPPS and responsible for tracking with the larger team these indicators, reporting to SAMSHA every 3 months and any corrections plans to meet those indicators. Supervise the overall management in timely date entry reporting, quarterly reports to SAMSHA through SPARS (data collection, entering and review on population serve). Participate in all expansion grant trainings, meetings, learning collaboratives, presentations as per SAMSHA expectations on the program lead. Collaborate with fiscal, larger team in securing stability and fiscal operational correlated reporting are provided timely by the project lead in ERA commons Responsible for the sustainability of the grant through performance at the end of the grant years and working towards securing any available future expansion. Provides oversight and management of the operations and compliance aspects of the CCBHC program, in accordance with agency and OMH, OASAS standards of care regulations and grant requirements. Provides direction and support to the clinical leaders in areas such as the hiring, orientation, training, and total performance management processes. Provides supervision to program staff and leadership staff and workflow; including delegating assignments and monitoring effectiveness to ensure best practices within the program and compliance with operational plans and the CCBHC scope. Monitors the staffing requirements for the practice including evaluating staffing needs and participating in the hiring process. Ensure the CCBHC program is financially stable and if a deficit that corrective actions are taking to ensure stability (PDSAs). Monitors high risk, care transition, Psyckes, Quality improvement, care transition, RHIO Alerts. Ensure metrics are met and reported, census requirements, bundle of services, management processes and provide recommendations on best practices and policy implementation. Assist in crisis management and oversee all incident reporting to appropriate agencies (OASAS, Justice Center, NIMRS…etc.) Ensure programs are complying with enrolled initiatives, grants and prepared for upcoming regulations or reimbursement expectations as working directly with the larger team, billing department and supervisors. Maintains community relationships, regulatory agencies, and collaborators as to attend collaborative learning meetings and represent the CCBHC program and/or as assigned by the Senior Administrator. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the site's operations - including but not limited to clinical, operations, service delivery, compliance to contracts, targets (individual and group sessions, treatment planning, discharge planning, case management, employment, retention and placements, chart compliance, recreational activities, security, maintenance, food service physical plant, etc.) Provide leadership, guidance direction, and supervision to all staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of deliverables targets and benchmarks. Interview, hire, supervise, and set up training to program personnel to reach program goals. Conduct performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, resignations, and terminations. Monitor and maintain the fiscal condition of the program. Develop program content to address clients' needs related to relapse prevention, stages of change, motivational interviewing, parenting skills, child and other health, federal, state, city and Acacia Network and regulations. Ensure and maintain all regulatory agency (i.e. NYC DOH, DFTA, FDNY) standards are in compliance (related to reporting, physical plant, food and emergency supplies, medical, personal belongings, mail, treatment, grievances, case management, safety, etc.) Understand all aspects of contract and licensing requirements and communicate this understanding to staff. Responsible for the overall administration of the site, food service, procurement of equipment and supplies for program and staff. Plan, and organize program activities to maximize program contract's goals and performance target as outlined. Plan, coordinate and facilitate social/recreations/peer support and skills building events. Communicate with peers at other programs on issues related to client progress and best practices. Facilitate interdepartmental communication and conduct regular staff/departmental meetings. Set realistic weekly and monthly performance goals in accordance with contract requirements with reporting staff. Ensure accurate and timely reporting and statistical information for both Acacia Network management and regulatory agencies. Review the analysis of program and demographic client data to make programmatic improvements. Contact vendors and/or sub-contractors to ensure appropriate service deliveries and quality. Connect with community leaders to build connections, gain support and troubleshoot issues/concerns. Conduct regular internal file review and implement Quality Assurance measures as needed to ensure quality service delivery to clients (i.e.-address and investigate client complaints) Organize onsite and offsite training opportunities for professional development to staff. Develop and implement crisis prevention and/or intervention strategies to ensure a safe and secure environment. Troubleshoot client and direct reporting staff program problems, and make decisions in accordance with programs policies, procedures, and protocols. Provide assistance and follow-up regards to critical incidents with clients. Conduct and document one-on-one supervision of direct reporting staff asses and improve work performance (i.e. identify training needs, professional, development, etc.) Serve as the Incident Commander for the entire facility. Report all incidents that may subject Acacia Network to liability to the Program Administrator. Review and sign all time sheets. Payroll must be completed on ADP in a timely fashion. Tasks may be modified and may require overtime and occasional weekends and evenings. May be asked to conduct peer review audits, and peer trainings on occasion. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Work, or Gerontology preferred. Bi-lingual Spanish required. Two (2) years of experience in the social services, nonprofit sector. Two (2) of administrative and supervisory experience. Basic computer skills for word processing and excel spreadsheet. Good communication skills. Comfortable with data entry in STARS/Peer Place on a daily basis. Experience in staff training and development. An understanding of funding and industry regulation and a track record of meeting compliance standards. Strong leadership, excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work on a strong team of professionals in a culturally diverse environment. Ability to multitask and to work and function under pressure. Must obtain S-95 Fire Certification and F-07 within 60 days of hire. Must obtain NY Notary licensure within 60 days of hire. Must attend all required NYC-Department for the Aging Training Sessions.
