Responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of all learning activities in any given course. The instructor must remain current in the discipline area and continually explore teaching methods and strategies to engage learners, organize and plan instructional content that accommodates diverse learning styles, and devise appropriate assessment tools that monitor student learning outcomes. The instructor is also responsible for participating in related activities to include professional development, curriculum design, and other activities that contribute to the department, division, and College. The instructor performs all other duties as directed by the Department Chair, Division Dean, EVP/Provost, or the President or designee.
Continuing Tenure Track: Faculty hired on 2-year conditional track, upon successful performance and evaluation, the hires may continue towards tenure track, and is renewable each year for two years.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Master's degree from a regionally or nationally accredited academic institution
* Hold a certification and registration in nuclear medicine technology from a national certification board
* Minimum of four years post-certification nuclear medicine technology experience.
* Minimum of one year of experience teaching in the didactic and/or clinical setting for a nuclear medicine technology program preferred.
* Experience implementing high-impact teaching practices preferred

* Follow department and division requirements for maintaining office hours and referring students to appropriate resources.
* Respond to student emails and phone calls within 48 hours with the exception of weekends and holidays. Maintain regular communication with students. Use the assigned PGCC email for communication with the department and with students.
* Submit annual program budgets to and work closely with the appropriate Department Chair, Program Coordinator, Director or Program Director on the development of annual division budgets for approval by the Dean, if applicable
* Attend all required meetings.
* Engage in appropriate and relevant service to the college and to the department (e.g., search committees, faculty committees, etc.)
* Maintain the currency and relevance of all learning resources for the courses, especially but not limited to OER's;

About the Position:
The Academic Advisor plays an important role in facilitating academic progress and degree completion of undergraduate and graduate students in the Teaching and Learning unit's of the Elementary Education program by communicating academic, clinical, and employment-related information to students, and assisting students with academic course planning and scheduling. The Academic Advisor works closely with the Interim Unit Lead and the Elementary Education Academic Program Coordinator, as well as with other student service professionals in the college.
Responsibilities:
Advise Elementary Education undergraduate and graduate students from their initial experience as newly accepted students through graduation via face-to-face and virtual meetings, telephone, and email communication, and group advising;
Facilitate new student orientations;
Communicate academic, clinical, and employment-related information; assist students with academic course planning and scheduling; help students initiate academic actions including BAM transition forms; assist students with understanding the internship application process; maintain an advising record for each student; and identify and assist students who are academically at risk;
Manage student and alumni listservs and communication;
Run reports each semester to assist with tracking progress of each individual student and monitor GPAs of students in order to enforce the program GPA requirement;
Connect students to campus resources and co-curricular opportunities to provide a holistic learning environment;
Assist with the coordination of recruitment processes and represent the program at undergraduate recruitment/admissions events;
Assist graduates with inquiries and issues, such as degree and licensure processes, and connecting them with appropriate personnel in the teacher prep office;

Build productive relationships with programs and personnel within the CEHD and across campus that support student well-being and university life;

The Opportunity

Job Responsibilities
Develop and deliver a comprehensive school counseling program aligned with ASCA (American School Counselor Association) standards and the school's mission.
Plan and facilitate classroom lessons, small groups, and individual counseling sessions to build students' social-emotional, interpersonal, and self-management skills.
Use student data (attendance, behavior, and academic indicators) to identify needs and measure program impact.
Collaborate with instructional staff to integrate social-emotional learning (SEL) themes into classroom instruction and dual-language activities.
Provide solution-focused individual and group counseling for students experiencing academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
Support positive school climate initiatives and assist with conflict resolution and restorative practices.
Participate in student support meetings (e.g., MTSS, RTI) and help implement intervention plans.
Conduct risk assessments and coordinate referrals to external mental health or community resources when appropriate.
Work closely with teachers, administrators, and the RTI Team to ensure coordinated services for students.
Engage and collaborate with families through communication, workshops, and meetings to support student well-being.

The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Social Worker IV for the Murray Developmental Center located in Centralia, Illinois to serve as Transition Coordinator for services. Serves as a qualified examiner and signs certificates of admission; develops. Integrates, coordinates and monitors Individual Service Plans (ISP). Provides evaluation, testimony and coordination with courts regarding individuals subject to judicial admission, guardian issues, criminal situations. Coordinates with people served and/or guardians regarding administrative admission status. Performs highly responsible casework including program compliance assessments, pre-admission screenings, admissions, social evaluations and discharge/transition planning. Serves as transition coordinator lead for community agencies, public and private, providing consultations that enhance the knowledge of individuals who are intellectually disabled and the resources available to them. Serves as a lead worker.
