COPC Hospitalist is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is interested in a full-time position in the acute care/hospital setting in Columbus, Ohio. The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing health care services to hospitalized patients within the parameters of a standard care agreement or supervisory organization with an attending physician member of Central Ohio Primary Care (COPC) Hospitalists. Collaborates with physicians and other clinicians in providing a full scope of patient care in the hospital setting. Job Description Shifts will be 12am-7am, 16 shifts per month, covering both weekdays and weekends. Work in our Inpatient Support Center helping to resolve immediate concerns regarding hospitalized patients. Hospital admissions at our various hospital sites in the Columbus area. Required Applicant Qualifications Current certificate of authority to practice as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the State of Ohio and certified by a national organization. Graduate of a PA-C program that qualifies the graduate to sit for the certification examination recognized by the National Certification Commission for Physician Assistant (NCCPA).
