PURPOSE STATEMENT: Mount Carmel Behavioral Health, a joint partnership between Acadia Healthcare, is an 80-bed hospital that provides acute inpatient and outpatient care for adult men and women, age 18 and above, who have been experiencing mental or behavioral health challenges. We also offer focused care for individuals whose primary psychiatric diagnosis is accompanied by co-occurring addiction. We are seeking a PRN Housekeeper/Floor Tech to join our fabulous team to maintain a clean and healthy patient care environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Perform specific cleaning and custodial tasks in the general upkeep, sanitation and cleanliness of the facility.
* Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment and supplies, using appropriate processes and germicides for cleaning equipment.
* Perform other housekeeping duties, such as move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, clean kitchens, cooking utensils, silverware, sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors as needed.
* Launder soiled linens as directed.
* Maintain adequate cleaning supplies for department/unit use.
* Properly clean and store all equipment and supplies after each shift.
* Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture for facility functions.
* Responsible for stocking of supplies as needed
* Follow all infection control measures.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
* Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Previous experience in housekeeping in a commercial, clinical or healthcare environment preferred.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
* Valid state driver's license, where required in a facility.
* CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
* First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Summary
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the stripping, buffing and waxing of floor surfaces throughout the hospital in accordance with safety and sanitation practices set forth by guidelines provided. May also assist in general housekeeping duties such as room/office cleaning; restroom maintenance, trash collection, or other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Preferred High School Diploma Minimum 18 years of age. Ability to read and write well enough to identify chemical agents, follow strict isolation procedures and complete paperwork
Less than 2 years Minimum of one year of janitorial and floor care experience, preferably in a health care setting. Preferred
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Ability to plan and execute floor care projects with minimal guidance from the supervisor/manager of EVS. Effective interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to communicate housekeeping activities with patients, staff and visitors.

Summary:
This position exists to accomplish work that does not fall under a specific routine, like floor care, carpet care, terminal cleaning, disaster or emergency cleaning, etc. The Project Technician is responsible for the improvement of the condition and appearance of the Hospital by using specific machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities And Duties:
1. Uses proper equipment, including: commercial vacuums, auto scrub machines, cord burnishes, buffers, upright scrubbing machines, mops, and other necessary equipment, tools, products, and supplies to complete daily assignments as needed.
2. Performs general operational maintenance on equipment i.e., checks, electrical cords, water levels in batteries, etc. Ensures all equipment is clean, safe, and is in good working condition. Follows all sign in/out procedures. Identifies maintenance needs, other than routine. Correctly reports and tags all broken equipment.
3. Performs cleaning other than would normally be considered routine, i.e., flood or disaster clean up, terminal cleaning, construction cleaning, etc.
4. Uses chemicals and cleaning agents safely and follows all MSDS guidelines and precautions. Follows all safety precautions.
5. Trains new employees in various methods of floor care, chemical and cleaning agents, and in safety protocols.

Mount Carmel Behavioral Health, a joint partnership between Acadia Healthcare, is an 80-bed hospital that provides acute inpatient and outpatient care for adult men and women, age 18 and above, who have been experiencing mental or behavioral health challenges. We also offer focused care for individuals whose primary psychiatric diagnosis is accompanied by co-occurring addiction. We are seeking a PRN Housekeeper/Floor Tech to join our fabulous team to maintain a clean and healthy patient care environment.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform specific cleaning and custodial tasks in the general upkeep, sanitation and cleanliness of the facility.
Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment and supplies, using appropriate processes and germicides for cleaning equipment.
Perform other housekeeping duties, such as move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, clean kitchens, cooking utensils, silverware, sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors as needed.
Launder soiled linens as directed.

Ensures clean, fresh laundry is available all day, every day
Is a master of the tools and products necessary to give us the freshest laundry in the spa industry
Greets each guest with a smile
Maneuvers the spa with ease and grace collecting soiled laundry without distracting guests or team members
Maintains an organized work space and places laundry in dedicated places
Has a keen attention to detail, is tidy and organized, and keeps the place spotless
Uses the right tools to clean the floors and powder rooms daily
Is the sanitation police and ensures all areas especially damp and moist areas are treated with extra care
Greets each and every guest with a smile
Keeps the break room in order and never leaves a dish in the sink
Is a steward of the Woodhouse brand making sure all areas comply to Woodhouse standards
Takes pride in work ensuring each guest has only the best experience
Communicates frequently with the hospitality team to meet and exceed all expectations
