This Outpatient Physical Therapy Supervisor @ our South Reno location is full time @ 40 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient schedule. In conjunction with the director, is responsible for directing the staff for the hospital's outpatient therapy department. Oversees a wide variety of administrative, personnel, fiscal, and technical activities. Assures that the department will meet or exceed the TJC requirements and be maintained in a cost effective manner.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides a comprehensive department orientation to all new P.T. staff and manages required training to all staff on an ongoing basis. Maintains documentation of staff competence levels.
Demonstrates role model attributes and ability to develop the skills and knowledge of others. Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments in the hospital.
Works with the director to develop and implement departmental performance improvement activities and assures ongoing staff participation.
Maintains continued education in the field of Physical Therapy and equipment through education, literature and seminars. Provides instructions and in-service in new products, procedures and equipment in a manner that will identify and prevent resource loss and maintain safety

Pay range and compensation package
The salary range for this position is $138,400 - $335,800 (Annual Rate). The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Responsible for the daily supervision, coordination, safety, technical, and quality aspects of the Neurodiagnostic Lab and the Epilepsy Monitoring Uni
Acts as a resource in coordinating clinical and technical operations in the Neurodiagnostic Lab and the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in accordance with institutional, and state and federal standards.
Assists in reviewing and revising department policies and procedures to ensure continuity in compliance accreditation and regulatory requirements
Works with department leadership to achieve department goals and objectives including budget and other operational priorities
Promotes teamwork and manages up team members and dire
Supervises, performs and/or Assists with the performance of Neurodiagnostic and Epilepsy Monitoring procedures, the processing and quality control of reports, transportation and coordination of patients and related duties of technologists and ancillary personnel.
Coordinates the training of employees and students
Work closely with the Health Systems Information Management team to ensure timely and complete capture of all neurophysiologic testing as well as network transmission of data
Provides findings, results, and a descriptive analysis according to facility policy and procedures. Strong well developed communication skills are essential for this Job
Performs standard and complex electroencephalograms (EEG), evoked potentials (EP), and nerve conduction studies (NCS) at the patient's bedside in the operating room and in the laboratory. Other monitoring procedures will include Long Term Monitoring (LTM), the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), and intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM)
Participates in organizational leadership meetings and initiatives as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The Weekend Supervisor (LPN, RN) is primarily responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in overseeing the weekend functions of the Nursing Department(s) to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the ADON & DON to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the Health Campus.
Supervise, oversee and assist with all resident care according to assessed resident status and established plan of care.
Provide direct nursing care as necessary per each resident's assessment, physician orders and plan of care and assess residents for expected results of treatments and medications.
Assist in the scanning and attaching of resident documentation in MatrixCare to ensure Medical Records are complete and accurate.
Maintain first impressions to welcome potential customers to experience our services and participate in survey and mock-survey campus preparedness.
Ensure campus is tour ready including back up team resources, tour path, model room, first impressions, and tour stations. Execute tours as necessary.
Provide patient care as necessary.
Work Requirements
Every Weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
Twelve (12) hour shifts
Shift hours at the discretion of the Director of Health Services
Compensation will be determined based on the relevant license or certification held, as well as the candidate's years of experience
Weekend Supervisor Incentive Pay Details
Weekend Supervisors are eligible for an additional hourly incentive of $7.00/hour for hours worked on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Weekend Supervisors who pick up hours Monday - Thursday will not receive the weekend incentive for these shifts worked.
Weekend Supervisors are not eligible for additional shift or weekend pay differentials in addition to their weekend incentive.
Qualifications
Must have and maintain a current, valid state LPN or RN license
Current, valid CPR certification required
Compensation will be determined based on the relevant license or certification held, as well as the candidate's years of experience
