About Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital
Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, not far from the Kentucky border, Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient programming for adults of all genders who have been struggling with mental health disorders. Our facility in southwestern Ohio also serves adults who have a primary diagnosis of a mental health disorder and a co-occurring substance use disorder. Each person who receives care at Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital follows a personalized treatment plan that reflects their unique needs, with the goal of empowering them to achieve and maintain the highest level of functioning. All services at our center are provided by an interdisciplinary team of experienced professionals within a safe, structured, and highly supportive environment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
* Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other therapeutic field is required.
* LSW or LISW or LPC or LPCC
$28-30 an hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions in the delivery of services to individuals and families for the purpose of treating such diagnosed emotional and mental disorders.
Conduct individual, group or family therapy as appropriate for the treatment plan of the patient.
Conduct a psychosocial assessment and develop an initial discharge plan.
Provide initial treatment planning for patient based on assessment and coordinate any additional services needed and revise as necessary.
Maintain documentation of therapy services provided to each patient according to facility and professional standards, revising as necessary.
Maintain a caseload as assigned.
Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with other staff to facilitate services for the patient as appropriate to their treatment plan.
May provide these services in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
Provide case management, discharge planning or after-care planning according to treatment plan.
May assist in educating and training staff on behavior management or therapeutic crisis intervention.
May coordinate various clinical, psychosocial or educational activities with patient and their families.
Evaluate patient's need and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities are needed.
May assist in the training of new clinical staff and interns.
Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
* Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other therapeutic field is required.
* Four or more years' experience as a therapist with two or more years' experience with the specific population of the facility is required.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
State or national licensure for professional therapy providers required.
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
First aid may be required based on state or facility.

* Previous experience in recreation in a healthcare setting is preferred.
* Flexibility working with both adolescents and adults.
* Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or currently in the process of obtaining national certification; OR certified in the area of specialty (Art, Dance, Music, etc.) OR clinical professional licensure (LCPC, LPC, etc.) with certification in expressive therapy area required.

Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist - RRT is responsible for the administration of pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures, following physician orders. This includes performing assessments, monitoring patient responses, and implementing treatment plans to promote effective respiratory care, disease prevention, and rehabilitation. The Respiratory Therapist ensures accurate documentation, maintains patient safety, and collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care. Essential Functions
Administers advanced respiratory treatments, performs assessments, and monitors patient responses to ensure effective care.
Orients patient to treatment modality prior to procedure in order to facilitate patient's cooperation and successful completion of the treatment process.

The Mental Health Therapist provides therapeutic services to individuals, families, and children in clinical or school settings. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering ongoing therapy to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. The therapist works collaboratively with clients, families, school staff, and interdisciplinary teams to promote mental health, emotional well-being, and academic success.
The therapist will provide individual therapy, as well as crisis intervention and care coordination. In the school setting, this role emphasizes early intervention, support for academic and social-emotional development, and collaboration with educators to ensure students' needs are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

CLINICAL DUTIES:
· Provide individual therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults in clinical or school-based environments.
· Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
· Deliver ongoing therapeutic support to clients and students to help them manage mental health challenges and achieve personal and academic goals.
· Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during times of acute need, both in clinical settings and at school.
· Develop and implement integrated wellness plans, addressing both mental health and life skills development.
· Work closely with school staff, parents, agency staff, and community service providers to ensure coordinated care and promote overall well-being.
· Provide consultation to teachers and school administrators to help address behavioral and emotional challenges in the classroom setting.
· Participate in school wellness initiatives, promoting mental health education and emotional resilience.
MEDICAL ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
· Maintains complete, accurate, and timely medical records, documenting mental health assessments, intervention plans, patient progress, and telephone message summaries.
· Ensure progress notes and any other special patient forms are completed following each patient encounter, adhering to organizational standards for documentation and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
· Communicate with patients, student parents, referring physicians, and other care providers to coordinate treatment and ensure continuity of care.
· Participate in health improvement activities, including collaborative health teams and patient care reviews.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
· Ensure all clinical and administrative duties meet accreditation and regulatory standards.
· Engage in Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives and other program evaluations, contributing to ongoing enhancements in patient care and service delivery.
· Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and committee activities to support integrated care efforts and improve overall service quality.
· Help develop and refine programs aimed at addressing behavioral health needs.
· Contribute to risk management and patient safety activities, maintaining a commitment to patient well-being and care excellence.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to gain knowledge of current practice management system, electronic medical record, Microsoft Word, Internet, and Intranet.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must be licensed by the State of Ohio Board of Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists (CSWMFT) LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC.
