J&C Ambulance Services is offering a PAID Apprentice program that will educate candidates and prepare them to successfully complete the National Registry Exam to become a licensed EMT. This is an accelerated class, lasting 6 weeks. Class times will be Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Clinical and ride time hours are also required for the course. While in class, students will be paid. After successfully completion of the National Registry exam, students can be hired by any of the sister companies where the salary ranges from $34,185 to $49,740 depending on the shift and schedule chosen. Classes are held every 8 weeks. These projects also include process improvement projects, staffing analysis, and data analysis for those groups. Gateway Planning Building and Facilities IE * Supports facility planning and design projects at all US Domestic Gateways. Areas of oversight include facility and ramp design, facility expansion projects, leasehold improvements, and capacity management of facility sort engines. Job responsibilities include developing project feasibilities and dataset management, organizing and leading internal and external cross functional teams, and determining project financial feasibility or potential return on investment. Fuel Analytics and Sustainability IE * The Fueling Analytics and Sustainability co-op will work on 1-2 projects evaluating and/or executing a fuel efficiency initiative for UPS Airlines. They will be required to communicate well with other work groups, including Aircraft Maintenance, Ground Service Equipment, Pilots, Flight Dispatchers, and Operations Supervisors. They will help us contribute towards sustainability goals by working on projects that reduce jet fuel burn and thus carbon emissions.
