JOB SUMMARY: Provide appropriate, efficient and timely pre-hospital basic life support care and transportation of the sick and injured in accordance with local, state, national and Acadian Ambulance standards of practice. EQUIPMENT: Ambulance; stretcher; folding stretcher; scoop stretcher; long and short spine boards and KED; spinal immobilization equipment; radios and computerized communications equipment; splinting devices; suction devices; bandaging materials; oxygen bottles and tubings; basic airway management devices; intravenous fluid therapy equipment; fire extinguisher; simple extrication devices; simple mechanics tools; blood pressure cuff and stethoscope; patient restraints; simple traction devices; other medical and related equipment items not specifically listed may be added as new items are introduced.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Except as specifically noted, the following functions are considered essential to this position.
Conducts a careful examination of the patient for signs and symptoms of illness/injury and assists other medical personnel as necessary.
Administers prompt and efficient basic life support care within the limits of licensure or certification and in accordance with approved protocols prior to and during transport.
Provides careful handling of the patient to and from the ambulance.
Provides safe and efficient transport of the patient in the ambulance to the medical facility.
Provides a safe and efficient transfer of patient and patient care information to the receiving personnel at the destination.
Documents all aspects of patient condition and treatment on EMS run reports. Obtains and records non-medical patient information as required. Completes other patient documentation and forms as required.
Conducts regular unit inventory and equipment testing to ensure all equipment for which the EMT-Basic is responsible is present, clean and in proper working order.
Upon completion of transport, responsible for all assigned duties which will place the ambulance and equipment back in service.
Responsible for full knowledge of the ambulance's basic life support equipment and its proper use at all times.
Documents and reports all needed repairs to the proper maintenance departments (electronic or mechanical) as well as to supervisors and other ambulance personnel as required.
In the absence of other qualified personnel, responsible for the use of basic extrication tools and procedures to gain access to the patient if necessary.
In the absence of other qualified personnel, responsible for controlling the patient's surroundings in such a way as to minimize further danger and control the actions of bystanders.
In both the emergency and non-emergency setting, operates / drives the ambulance in a safe and efficient manner, following company driving guidelines, so the safety or condition of the occupants are not compromised.
Follows all FCC regulations when communicating via electronic communications equipment.
Attends all mandatory meetings as scheduled.
Completes assigned station and station grounds duties.
Orders supplies and equipment from Central Supply to replenish station and ambulance inventories as needed.
Completes assigned ambulance duties (i.e., washing, waxing, interior and exterior cleaning, etc.) as required.
Completes all required company reports and logs and when necessary provides other ambulance and supervisory personnel with the information.
Approved Field Training Officer are responsible for precepting EMT-Basic students as well as new employees as directed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
Responsible to ensure aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy to transport medical crew and patient to receiving hospital within an assigned operational area. Responsible for compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), General Operations Manual guidelines (GOM), and thorough knowledge of Air Methods policies and procedures.
Operates Air Methods' aircraft in a safe and legal manner, plus:
Completes pre-flight before every flight verifying the aircraft is in an airworthy condition by sign off of Daily Flight Log. Pilots will perform a complete walk around of the aircraft prior to entering the cockpit for flight and upon completion of each flight.
Final authority with regard to operations of aircraft and for the safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
Must be thoroughly familiar with all aircraft and medical systems of backup aircraft utilized at operational area and also ensures that the medical flight team is familiar and comfortable with the medical interior and systems.
Responsible for completion of required documentation.
Able to conduct detailed flight planning with little notice to exacting standards

As a Supervisory General Engineer (Liquified Natural Gas (LNG)), you will:
* Lead and coordinate programs that strengthen Federal expertise in LNG facility operations, management, and safety practices; implement initiatives that provide Federal and industry stakeholders with a central repository of resources and guidance on operational best practices; and foster collaboration across government agencies, industry partners, and public stakeholders to promote safe practices, innovative solutions, and effective regulatory activities advancing LNG safety and operational excellence nationwide.
* Supervise 4-6 staff (GS-9 or higher). Develop performance standards, assign work, evaluate performance, resolve informal complaints, and recommend staffing actions (appointments/promotions/reassignments/details).
* Lead the National Center's business operations and project management. Develop project plans, manages budgets and resource allocations, establish standard operating procedures, and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and outcomes.
* Lead multi-agency, cross-functional initiatives. Coordinate teams, sets program priorities aligned with the Director, and provide implementation support of activities consistent with program objectives and within established timelines.

MANDATORY EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
A. 4. Related curriculum -- Successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field, e.g., engineering technology, physics, chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, or geology, may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree in engineering, provided the applicant has had at least 1 year of professional engineering experience acquired under professional engineering supervision and guidance. Ordinarily there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-type experience, e.g., in interdisciplinary positions. The AGM is responsible for managing and coordinating all air traffic operations and/or support activities

The AGM applies a comprehensive understanding of the principles of management and strategic planning to plan, direct, coordinate, evaluate and manage the operational and support activities of a highly technical matrix organization consisting of Air Traffic Managers (ATM) and Support Managers (SM). Works on complex projects and programs based on the objectives of the organization along with the GM and is responsible for strategic and tactical planning, communicating the organization's vision and objectives, setting priorities, coaching, and developing staff and organizational capabilities. The AGM solicits feedback from the SMs and A TMs on shared responsibilities for safety, efficiency and a systems approach in the performance of the NAS.
The AGM assists the GM as the focal for labor-management relations, civil rights, legal and security issues in consultation with all Staff Offices. Supports and participates in the labor-management partnership process, and fosters a work environment where all employees are treated in a fair and equitable manner. The AGM is responsible for the coordination of district management investigations.
The AGM demonstrates the ability to collaborate with multiple organizational units; including the bargaining unit representatives, and projects to accomplish mission objectives by addressing tactical issues that require cooperation between different facilities, districts, and service units. Ensures coordinated responses by working with counterparts and maintains a positive working relationship at the appropriate levels of other organizations to enable problem solving at the lowest level.
The AGM applies a broad understanding of financial management, project and administrative processes to define, acquire and allocate budget, staff and other resources to accomplish objectives. Fosters continuous improvement of in the delivery of air traffic services.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
Responsible to ensure aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy to transport medical crew and patient to receiving hospital within an assigned operational area. Responsible for compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), General Operations Manual guidelines (GOM), and thorough knowledge of Air Methods policies and procedures.
* Operates Air Methods' aircraft in a safe and legal manner, plus:
* Completes pre-flight before every flight verifying the aircraft is in an airworthy condition by sign off of Daily Flight Log. Pilots will perform a complete walk around of the aircraft prior to entering the cockpit for flight and upon completion of each flight.
* Final authority with regard to operations of aircraft and for the safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
