My passion is to start from scratch and bring the concept to the real world using data and algorithms.I believe that AI needs to weave in with the domain knowledge to solve the problems- 15+ years of work experience in building data science/ML solutions - 25+ patents, 35+ technical publications- Top 10 data scientists in India by the Analytics India Magazine in 2015- IEEE Senior MemberI started my journey in data science while I was doing my MS at the Univ of Wyoming in 2000. While pursuing my studies, I solved several practical problems using statistics, machine learning, data mining, and AI. Specifically, I build Factorial Hidden Markov Models-based data solutions that solved several analytical problems at DARPA and Toyota, and it became a part of my Ph.D. thesis. After graduating from UConn in 2007, I came back to India and worked in GM R&D in automotive data analytics. I invented several data science algorithms to solve problems in Powertrain, Engineering, Quality, and Service. We built several data science solutions based on inventions. I continued my career as a data science leader in Samsung India and CA Technologies India, where I hired data scientists to build their first data science teams and delivered several data science solutions in mobile and information infrastructure domains. In 2015, I joined Acalvio to build an advanced deception platform. During the last four years, I created the data science team and delivered several data science and AI features in the product. Apart from work, I enjoy running, cycling, and rock climbing. I am also serving as a Founding board member of Bangalore Whitefield Cycling Club (BWCC) and Bangalore Climbing Initiatives (BCI) Club to enhance cycling and rock climbing activities in Bangalore.
