Build collaboration through community outreach and awareness.

Access Services is hiring a Supervisor to work in our Community Homes program in Bethlehem and Allentown, PA! This supervisor will work in our Community Homes Program, providing daily supervision to direct support staff and management of the group home. The direct support staff work with individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism in the group home setting. The supervisor will ensure that all program objectives are being met and that the services provided meet the needs of those being served in compliance with all licensing standards and Access Services' quality standards.
Essential Functions
1. Efficiently administer the program including:
Oversee the management of finances and fiscal decisions for assigned homes
Assist in the development and implementation of efficient operating procedures.
Oversee compliance with all local, county and state regulatory agencies.
Recommend any hires, fires and directs any needed disciplinary action
Make and maintain staff schedules.

The JRS team works across Northampton County and is based out of our Bethlehem, PA office. We serve adults who are diagnosed with severe mental illness and involved in the criminal justice system. Many of the individuals we serve are currently incarcerated in Northampton County. The program helps clients get involved in their communities, decrease hospital visits, decrease criminal behavior, shorten the amount of time spent in correctional facilities, and avoid future incarceration.
As a Forensic Certified Peer Specialist, you will get to work with a unique population, many of whom are currently incarcerated, and greatly in need of services. You will use your lived experience to help clients achieve their goals, find stability, cope in healthy ways, and improve their overall wellness.
This position is designed to provide support to individuals within the Northampton jail, subject to approval of the warden. Pursuant to that, the scope, criteria, and availability of this work is subject to change for the candidate in this role.

As a member of the team, you will manage a caseload of individuals with Intellectual disabilities and/or Autism by creating and executing their goals towards an independent and successful life. As a supervisor, you will represent the agency at the county level and you will oversee the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who work with the individuals we support. You will support the DSPs work by supporting them to achieve the Indvidual's outcomes, ensuring that services are mission driven and of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Orient new staff to the program and the cases they will be working on.

Provide 5-10 hours of direct care support to individuals in the program.
Keep abreast of developments in the field relating to the provision of services and intervention techniques.

Full and part-time DSP positions are available based on program openings. Schedules are built around your availability and based on client needs.
