Qualifications for Radiologic Technologist Jobs
Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT registration
Current BLS certification required
State of Ohio Radiology license (MRI techs may submit without OH license)
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Rad Tech, preferably in a Level I Trauma or teaching hospital
Proficiency in C-arm and O-arm operation (must have strong skills in both)
Experience in outpatient, inpatient, operating room, and trauma settings
Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Epic charting system experience preferred
Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or supervisor)
Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities
Deliver expert C-arm and O-arm imaging support for surgical procedures in the Operating Room
Perform X-ray procedures for perioperative imaging and surgical interventions
Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to provide optimal patient care
Maintain imaging equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with radiology advancements
Float to other units or locations of equal acuity as needed

Radiology Technologist Job Details

Shift: Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts (20:30 - 07:00); every third weekend required

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910-$2050
Radiology Technologist Qualifications
1+ year of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist or X-Ray Tech
Active ARRT (R) certification
Current BLS certification
Valid Ohio Department of Health (ODH) license
EPIC charting experience required
Experience with GE Siemens, PACS, and portable X-ray units preferred
Trauma Level I hospital experience preferred
Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
Two professional references required (at least one from a supervisor or manager)
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures, including portable/mobile radiology exams
Operate and maintain imaging equipment: fixed diagnostic X-ray units, mobile radiology units, mini C-arm
Deliver imaging services for cardiology, cancer, ICU, PCU, transplant, emergency, and trauma patients
Utilize EPIC for charting and clinical documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Participate in on-call rotation and work every third weekend as scheduled
Comply with hospital policies, including timely credentialing and fingerprinting
