Rajeev Singh is Chief Executive Officer at Accolade, the leading technology-enabled consumer healthcare engagement services company for large employers, payers and provider organizations. He was most recently co-founder, president and chief operating officer of Seattle-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) travel and expense management firm Concur, the eighth-largest SaaS company in the world. Rajeev co-founded Concur, the global leader in travel and expense management, in 1993. His early years in the company were focused in the product management and development organizations. In the 20 years that followed, he worked in nearly every role in the business - culminating in his final role as president, chief operating officer and board director for the last nine years of his tenure. During that timeframe, the company grew from $60mm in revenues to over $800mm in revenues before being acquired by SAP AG for $8.3bn in 2014. He graduated from Western Michigan University with a BSE. Today, he serves on the boards of Apptio, a SaaS technology business management solutions provider, and on The Seattle Children’s Hospital Foundation.

As Chief Medical Officer of Accolade, I oversee the company’s clinical strategy and solutions to improve health outcomes for two million individuals and families. I also lead Accolade’s work to improve our members’ experience and relationships with their healthcare providers. I am a practicing primary care physician and technologist with expertise in combining medicine and innovation with deep knowledge of the healthcare industry and global health policy.

Prior to joining Accolade, I served as Senior Technology Advisor in the World Bank Group’s Health, Nutrition and Population Global Practice. In this role, I accelerated adoption of health innovation and technology across the Bank’s $15 billion healthcare portfolio in low- and middle-income countries.

Previously, I served as Director of the Human Diagnosis Project, a healthcare AI startup company, and Managing Director for Clinical Innovation at Evolent Health, a population health and predictive analytics company, where I improved hospital and chronic disease outcomes for more than two million individuals in the U.S. I first blended my medical training with a passion for digital healthcare technology as co-inventor of SMS-DMCare, automated text messaging software for individuals with diabetes. The technology was one of the first mHealth interventions to demonstrate improved health and lower costs, and to be adopted by the World Health Organization’s eHealth Compendium.

My work has been recognized by the MacArthur Foundation and been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Harvard Business Review, Forbes, The Atlantic, The Journal of the American Medical Association, Psychology Today, Rolling Stone, and Wired Magazine. I have authored two books. Stay Healthy At Every Age, a Wall Street Journal top five book in health and wellness, published in 2010. In the spring of 2021, my second book, Care After Covid: What the Pandemic Revealed Is Broken in Healthcare and How to Reinvent, will be released on Amazon.

I currently practice primary care at Mary’s Center, a federally qualified health center serving a large, immigrant community in Washington, D.C. I earned a Bachelor of Science from MIT, Doctor of Medicine from Johns Hopkins University, and Master of Business Administration from University of Chicago.

Prior to Accolade, I co-founded Concur in 1993, and remained there during its entire 21 year journey in various product and technology leadership roles, most recently as Chief Product Officer.

Before co-founding Concur, I helped launch the sales force automation space as part of the team that created ACT! for Windows at Contact Software/Symantec, and began my career at Apple/Claris, where I led the development efforts for MacWrite Pro, at the time the leading word processor for the Mac.

I graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Computer and Information Sciences and a B.A. in Mathematics.

Richard Eskew is an EVP, General Counsel & Chief Privacy Officer at Accolade and is based in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. He has worked as Executive Director at Nomura Holding America Inc., Adjunct Professor at Cardozo Law School, and Special Counsel at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP. Richard attended Fordham University School of Law between 1996 and 1999, Monsignor Farrell between 1988 and 1992, and Manhattan College between 1992 and 1996.
