Minimum Requirements
Administrative: Answer telephones, maintain logs/records, motivate others, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, research information, time management, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications.
Machine: Calculator, personal computer.
Physical Demands: Speech clarity, utilization of fingers and hands, standing-remaining on one's feet in an upright position, sitting-remaining in the normal seated position, handling-seizing, holding, grasping and possible casual to regular lifting of up to 15 pounds.
License/Certification/Education: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, but prefer an Associate's Degree w/3-5 years LabCorp experience.

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial reports, records and general ledger, preparing and analyzing budgets, and performing basic accounting functions related to monthly financial close. Continually develop general office automation by using macros, functions, formulas, databases and software available to improve the processes for the entire OTO Finance team. Using application tools to provide better levels of reporting mechanisms for a "real time" analysis.
On a monthly basis, handle the General Accounting responsibilities for assigned Corporate Services departments, including constructing the monthly financial statement package and related analyses. Faculty P&L analysis, monthly general ledger reporting, and Revenue recognition reporting.
Act as departmental lead for the assigned departments in working with Operational Management team (includes the various Departmental Directors, Administrators and Financial Support contacts) to develop operating budgets and projections.
Provide general financial support and training for financial systems such as Lawson, PfP, Hyperion, SAP Business Objects, Workday, Smart View, and Essbase to assigned Corporate Services Operational management areas.
Assist with inter-entity transfers to ensure that the transactions are properly recorded.
Develop analytical reports, as requested.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
