Position Summary
The Senior Accounts Payable Payment Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payments for goods and services. This role is critical in ensuring that sensitive financial information is transmitted securely and high-volume payments are processed accurately. Payment processing formats will include check, ACH, wire, and payment portals as well as internal account transfers. Job Responsibilities
Process weekly payments, utilizing check, ACH, and wire formats
Manage purchasing and credit card payments in ERP system and payment portals
Handle employee reimbursement batches and payments
Generate weekly payables aging and payment reports
Void and reissue payments as needed
Prepare wire packets with appropriate documentation and approvals
Process wire payables and payments in ERP system
Distribute and mail paper checks with required documentation
Research stale-dated checks and prepare escheatment records
