Audits and enters all employee reimbursement requests within timelines and to ensure compliance with Altru Health System policies. Processes physician expense reimbursements approved by Physician Comp Manager, or their designate, for payment. Maintains open payable file for held and approved invoices to provide efficient access to open payable invoices. Processes invoices for payment before due date for AHS and all affiliated corporations to maximize discounts available and to adhere to payment terms of vendors. Audits non-purchase order requests for payment for approval and supporting documentation. Verifies codes on all approved non-purchase order invoices are appropriate general ledger account numbers, resolves any discrepancies with Department Manager. Audits statements for past due invoices and resolves any issues. Researches invoices and statements to prevent duplicate payments and charges to the appropriate facility. Provides data as requested by external auditors for year-end financial audit. Reviews vendor 1099 reports for accuracy and inclusion of appropriate amounts. Processes new vendor files, validating 1099 statuses and TINs as appropriate. Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
