Uses sales skills and content knowledge to promote and assist with sales and service activities for Public Sector customers and prospects in a designated Area. Uses a consultative selling approach to retain and expand business with current WM customers. Assists in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with WM's franchise operations in cities, counties, and special districts ensuring that existing, extended, and new contracts are favorable to the Company. Serves as a company representative for local officials, community stakeholders, and associated businesses. Uses various media channels to coordinate and disseminate publicity and good-will information concerning WM.
This position is remote however the employee will be required to reside in northeastern Wisconsin or the upper peninsula of Michigan based on business need. This position will require regular travel to customer locations within the assigned geographical region.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage existing contracts including relationship maintenance, contract terms, service offerings, price increases and extensions.
Maintain and enhance customer relationships and satisfaction through involvement in the community. This includes but is not limited to: attending public functions, City Council / Board meetings and other community events, conducting community educational and informational outreach and working with appropriate media outlets for communication purposes.
Coordinate activities with other WM departments as necessary to deliver on contract and service expectations.
Develop strategies to strengthen/deepen service offerings and wallet share of existing contracts.
Utilize contract management and audit tools to maximize contract value and compliance.
Utilize revenue acceleration tools for existing contract renewals and target pursuits, shaping RFP's and existing contracts to provide value propositions that match customer needs and Waste Management offerings.
Develop community partnerships with elected officials and key community stakeholders that result in positive press coverage and have a beneficial impact on the community and WM.
Provide support and insight on political strategies, activity and needs within a community.
Coordinate, oversee and manage all bid responses, including pricing analysis, reporting and other exhibits as required.
Develop marketing strategies that identify retention and growth opportunities that include supporting strategies, resources and timelines necessary to accomplish goals.
Continue to build skills by participating in on-going training offered by the Company.
III. Qualifications - Must live and work in the U.S.
A. Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Communications, Political Science, or Economics, or five or more years of previous applicable experience in government relations, outside sales, public service, or related field.
Five years or more of previous applicable experience (in addition to education requirement)
B. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Communications, Political Science, or Economics, or similar area of study, and five or more years of previous applicable experience.

In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay.

Job Description
The Clinical Account Manager (CAM) acts as the primary customer contact for sales demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting Sobi products as lead by the Regional Sales Director. In this strategic role, the CAM provides current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Sobi's products and effectively communicates the on-label clinical benefits of the products. Qualifications

BA/BS in business or science
Minimum of 5 years' with dedicated hospital selling experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry, with minimum of 3 years' specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry
A CAM will have a minimum of 3 years' of biologics sales experience that will utilize a specialty pharmacy or 8 years with dedicated hospital selling experience. Experience with a transition of care/patient journey process from the hospital to the outpatient setting
Demonstrated history of high sales performance
Experience with single source pharmacies, reimbursement programs, managed care, and formulary
Strong work ethic, ability to develop priorities, and manage time appropriately in a large, assigned geography.
Travel within the assigned territory, including overnights, which could be as high as 40-50% in some cases. Must be based in, or located near given geographic territory (relocation will not be provided)

What you will do
Meet our ‘analytically technical' (think: Data Scientist or Analyst writing SQL and Python) end users where they are to build strong relationships and help them get the most out of Hex during their evaluations
Be on the front-line of working with Hex end users throughout the Sales cycle from discovery and product demos through trials, and proofs of concept
Partner closely with AccountExecutives to develop opportunity-level strategy, execute evaluations, and share feedback to improve your partnership
Source and synthesize critical product feedback from prospects to share with internal Engineering & Product teams to influence and shape our product roadmap
Project manage the architecture, security, and technical reviews that prospects require
Develop content to support users who are a part of evaluations ie. demo projects, documentation, videos, etc.
As needed, travel to customer on-sites and marketing events to deliver demos and build strong customer relationships
Who you might be
You might be a fit for this role if you have:
2-3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales role
Experience working with Mid Market customers (250-2500 employees)
Experience with land POC/Technical Sales Motions
Familiarity with data science tooling and workflows, including Python, SQL, and BI tools (Bonus points if you have spent lots of time in notebooks, SQL IDEs, or app-building frameworks.)
A strong track record of talking to customers - from IC users to senior stakeholders - and solving their problems
You're an excellent communicator who builds empathy, shares feedback, and grows successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders
A generalist technical skillset: you don't need a CS degree, but should have a passion and interest for technology and be a creative problem solver
Experience or interest in working in an early-stage startup environment
Location preference for West Coast major metro (preference for SF)

Generating leads by attending conferences, responding to inbound inquiries, as well as cold calling.
