About This Role
Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a Specialty AccountManager (SAM) to execute commercial activities for assigned geographies, establish relationships with customers, and ensure successful promotion of AUVELITY for major depressive disorder in adults and potential future indications. This role is field-based and will require gaining access to customers in a clinic or hospital setting while also maximizing the ability to engage through digital channels.
SAMs will be responsible for product performance at a territory level and expected to be a disease category expert and product champion. Demonstrate strong customer focus and an excellent phone manner; display strong written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent math and reading skills to perform calculations.
Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills, and the ability to handle difficult situations with customers and solve complex problems without direct supervision.
Have excellent time management skills with a personal accountability mindset as well as technology and computer proficiency, including agency management systems, rating tools, and carrier website navigation.
