ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills. Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks and work efficiently with minimal supervision. Utilize the accounting system, billing system, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Reconcile all operating accounts. Utilize statistical, economic and financial principles and techniques to prepare reports associated with the senior accountant role. Provide detailed analysis and perform audits relating to ongoing operations of the dealership. Prepare various financial documents for the operating departments. Assist with the month-end closing process by conducting research and making adjusting journal entries for any account discrepancies. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. Current CPA license preferred Minimum four years' experience in accounting or related business area. Preferred two years' experience in public accounting. Proven track record of good communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS & REASONING ABILITY Should be able to read computer generated reports, office reports, invoices, etc. Should be able to compute numbers manually, or by use of a calculator or computer. Also is required to operate computer with keyboard and mouse, 10-key calculator, fax machine, and other various office equipment. Must be able to use communicative skills to interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner.
