Job Description Use Quickbooks software to maintain corporate payroll and accounting for up to 10 commercial properties. Payroll, Accounts Payable, Post revenue, Pay taxes, Bank reconciliations, and Quarterly reports make up the vast majority of what will be done in Quickbooks. Use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and additional Clerical work needed. Located in Princeton WV - Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

The Staff Accountant will assist with daily accounting tasks, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. Use tools like Power BI, Spotfire, and SQL to help develop dashboards for analyzing financial data. Work on special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed. Gain exposure to industry-specific accounting practices, such as revenue recognition for oil and gas sales and joint interest billing. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial data. Your Background: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Have a strong interest in the oil and gas industry. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus. Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
