What You Will Need:
TEN (10)+ years of hands-on experience in technology consulting, technology transformation, or enterprise IT services.
Bachelor's Degree.
Proven experience and relationships working with DOT, especially within OCIO or mission areas.
Proven track record of technology account growth and client relationship development.
Deep understanding of enterprise IT domains (cloud, data, digital platforms, cybersecurity).

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Goldschmitt and Associates is seeking an experienced AccountingClerk III, whosupports the VA Financial Services Center (FSC) by reviewing, processing, and resolving vendor invoices and payment transactions in accordance with the Prompt Payment Act (PPA), VA policies, and established federal accounting practices. This role requires independent judgment, attention to detail, and proficiency with VA financial management systems to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payments.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Review submitted vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with VA and FSC policies and Prompt Payment Act (PPA) requirements
Catalog, prioritize, and manage invoices and supporting documentation within designated work queues and electronic content management systems based on processing requirements
Enter and maintain invoice, vendor, and transaction data within VA FSC Financial Management Systems, including FMS, iFAMS, IPPS, and related platforms
Compute, prepare, validate, and review financial transaction data prior to manual or automated payment processing

The Summer Internship Program at Abt Global is 10 weeks, beginning June 1, 2026, through August 7, 2026. Interns must be able to work full time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the program. You must participate in programming/seminars/meetings scheduled throughout the Abternship.
Key Roles and Responsibilities

Support and maintain ROV dashboards in Power BI.
Assist the Assistant Controller and Senior Accounting Director in meeting routine and ad-hoc deadlines.
Assist in performing cash reconciliations between project QuickBooks site office and Oracle reports
Assist corporate accounting in preparing account reconciliations and analyses

What You Will Do

Essential Duties
* Maintain accounts payable information, vendor files, disbursement records, and ensure the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines.
* Independently process complex payment documents, upload spreadsheets, reconcile procurement card statements and record expenses for financial reporting.
* Compile and review invoices, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper coding. Utilize County's financial management system to process payments.
* Assist auditors by providing supporting documentation and/or information on internal process and procedures.
* Respond to payment inquiries and troubleshoot vendor payments across decentralized departments.
* Assist with training of departmental staff in accounts payable workflows, including invoice entry, reviews, approvals, and documentation protocols.
* Work collaboratively with the Accounts Payable Manager with maintaining and reviewing vendor records throughout the year to ensure accurate tax identification numbers (TINS), business types, and payment coding.
* Support the Accounts Payable Manager with annual IRS 1099 reporting and respond to vendor and departmental inquiries regarding 1099 issuance and corrections.
* Identify system issues or recurring errors and support the Accounts Payable Manager with process improvements.
* Assist Accounts Payable Manager with creating and maintaining standard operating procedures and handouts for recurring and unique AP scenarios.
