2023 Full Time Entry Level Consultant - Forensic Accounting
Who do we hire? Ideal candidates will be accounting majors interested in careers in forensic accounting who are prepared to become CPAs. Finance majors planning to become CPA eligible will also be considered. If you're an effective communicator, analytical, team-oriented, and love to be challenged, you could be our perfect fit!

What do we do? Forensics work includes providing expert accounting witness services in highly complex accounting litigation dealing with insurance insolvency, accountant malpractice & other professional liability, fraud & embezzlement and director & officer liability. You will assist with researching forensic accounting and auditing issues through a document discovery based approach and assist in providing fraud analysis and damage calculations.

AN IDEAL ENGAGEMENT DIRECTOR POSSESSES:

* At least 10 years of relevant work experience, including 2 + years' experience in public accounting, or comparable consulting firm. We love Big 4 alum!

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field required.

* CPA certification is preferred but not required.

* Audit/Internal Audit experience would be a plus.

* Experience fixing things! Designing/improving accounting processes such as: monthly close, management, and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, shared services or application outsourcing, and system implementations

* Exceptional interpersonal skills. We want someone with the capability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives and team members without needing to be hand-held or requiring supervision.

* A strong client services orientation including the ability to take an active and hands-on approach in executing engagements to exceed client expectations… Our Engagement Directors hit the ground running, provide value, and take pride in their work!

A&M helps CFOs in making critical decisions directly impacting the success of the business. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in many of the following areas:
Full-cycle accounting and finance processes and performance improvement (i.e., Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Invoice to Cash) Finance and accounting functional effectiveness Cost management Financial planning and analysis Merger, acquisition and divestiture support Internal controls and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) SEC ReportingSupporting external audit processes Treasury management Accounting remediation Bankruptcy reporting Experience serving in CFO advisory and interim leadership capacities a plus

Responsibilities Include:
